Did you all read that today ? I believe it was Matt P ( silent P ,)) who was quoted stating that . If that is the case then I like the label even more . It makes sense to me as one or 2 Cancer cases popping up could cause the stock to tank . Isn't that what happened to DNDN ( tho I believe that was a a valid concern there ,but don't quote me ,)) I can see why they wouldn't want smokers, asthmatics, COPD pts ect on this drug & they seem to be thinking ahead ...? A cancer scare that's not legitimate ( smoker ) could derail the future of technosphere. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth On another note , I too was expecting today to be way more exciting !! I'm finding that the majority of what I'm reading as far as articles go , the authors ( aside from George Rho & maybe a cpl others ) still don't seem to know much about this drug , or the technology behind it . Good for us I suppose bc I want to buy more LOL one of the docs saw me today & said "It's time to sell ! You're supposed to sell on the news !" I think he's great , but No Way am I selling !!! This holds too much Potential ! Most just don't "see" it yet

Here's Matts comment , you all have prob seen but I'll admit this has become my obsession I may need to seek professional help " I'm addicted to Mannkind! " I hope there comes a time when I can forget about this for a while but don't see that happening in the near future Sorry if I'm sharing this wrong ./ next part is about BB warning from an article today, I may have missed it but don't recall seeing this discussed .. "While some investors initially expressed concern that the FDA warned that the drug shouldn't be used by patients with asthma or lung disease, company officials said they asked for the designation. "That was suggested by us," Pfeffer said. "We've always said these are groups that shouldn't be using the product. We didn't include them in the clinical trials."

matt or someone else in mngmnt had mentioned this long before now, i think it was around the last august after all the FUD was being spread following P3 trials. mnkd never wanted copd/asthmatics to use this as they are too risky a population. it's good that he clarified that and i think that harping on that is important to quench any rumors that this is anything bad. you wouldn't want to inject insulin through a skin lesion and you don't want afrezza to be inhaled through damaged lungs. i think it's an only an issue because our media is so screwed up that they have to present everything as a "story".
