Hey guys... Though we would see more of a pullback today since the shorts were back in the game. Was hoping to buy more @ something with a $9 in front of it. Got scared and pulled the trigger on 7500 shares at $10.51.
I've been in this sucker since $1.87. Made quite a bit of money already. From where I'm sitting, the stuff that used to keep me up at night has passed. We got past the FDA with a revolutionary drug.
Do you really think that the silence from Al isn't all part of the plan?
The reason I bought more today is because I believe at any moment between now and ? theres going to be a press release and/or conference which will be Al's "checkmate" moment. Positive media sentiment is everywhere. Soon it won't just be the pro boards community expounding the virtues. Reflect on the gut wrenching, soul crushing roller coaster we've been on with this stock. We're approved! Its our turn now.

Careful what you wish for... And having said that I do believe as a former lawyer, entrepreneur and someone who has sold two companies to Fortune 100 companies, deals take a lot of time... One of those deals with a buyer who came to us and no competing bids took a year to complete with due diligence etc and we were not a huge company. So expect the full 8 weeks or longer and be happy if sooner is my feeling...

I have a few friends that work in Pharma (in various forms) and just the legal paperwork alone could be a cause for a delay. There are generic companies that tryo to swoop in if an "i" is not dotted and try to steal the drug. I don't think this is the case with mannkind, but the label was pretty close to best case scenario (within reason). Of course there is an idea or a "preferred" partner, but they still have to work out the finer points of the deal, and if Al is involved, he will get his way. Another way to look at this- try selling a house in a normal market (I know it's been awhile). After you find a buyer, it still takes a month to 6 weeks to close. Afrezza is much bigger than a house. The FDA approval came a little early. They will work it out, but you're not getting an answer tomorrow. There will be some dips ahead to get in, but they may not be as drastic as picking up shares at $7, but there will be some opportunities.

Any thoughts on a good price point dip to look for? I've only got just shy of $3k to put in and want to catch this if it dips again.

I suggest you start with a 20% position. (or thereabouts) Then, you can start adding, daily, or weekly....either another 20% or same no. of shares as the first purchase.....
There are so many ways of approaching this....Is this your entire investment? or part and parcel of a larger sum....among other investments? Right now, we are pretty much over the biggest risk...that is, approval. I also believe, upside is much greater than downside risk. Another words, we will see 12 before 8. Some downsides, many, many upsides.... I am here and in MNKD because the riskiest part is over. Unfortunately, things seem to be going in slow motion...so don't expect this to be a GOPRO... at least not yet. If and when management speaks, I expect it to be very positive....and it should happen shortly, that is, in the next few weeks. All in my opinion, of course. Others may have an entirely different view. good luck.

Big deals are not announced during short work weeks. Market closes early on Thursday and closed on Friday. MNKD knows how to maximize the biggest moment in company history. I have confidence we will have great news very soon. Perhaps even Monday July 7th. Careful what you wish for... Well, here's your $9.xx dip. I don't think we're touching the 8's so anywhere in this range seems reasonable.

Yeah, I got some more at $9.80, plus I used the one-time, 10% off coupon that they passed out at the shareholders meeting (for true MNKD fans), so net cost was under $9!! LOL

Others may have an entirely different view. good luck. Assuming that question was directed at me. I'm not a major investor by any means, this is some 'play money' i have in the portion of my 401k that I'm allowed to put into stocks. Our 401k plan allows 50% for a brokerage account. Of that I have made the following 1st purchase 4/26/13 of 260 shares. Now own 1100 shares @ cost basis of $4.80 a share. My holdings amount to about 7% of my brokerage partition and under 4% of my overall 401k plan. So i'm not heavily invested but I DO like what i see in this product and think it has HUGE potential and as such huge opportunity for the stock to grow. Since this is a retirement account smart money tells me to not put all my eggs in one basket but I still want to get in on a good investement when i see one. That said i'm considering adding another 2k to it. Yea it's small beans compared to what a lot of folks on here are talking about but I'm still "in it to win it" so to speak Probably going to add today or tomorrow as it appears this weeks no news, shorts having fun, and longs cashing it, might be a good time to pick it up again at a bargain price. I just hate pushing up my cost basis. LOL

Just remember the sale ends at the close of the market on July 3rd at 1:00 PM. Anything can happen after that

Just curious.. is a day before a holiday pretty notorious for being a low volume day? And would that (low volumes) be a cause for bigger drops in price? Sorry i'm a bit of a noob at this when it comes to understanding the market from a macro stand point.
