You mean we will hit $10 very soon ... instead of waiting till 2026 as some have said ? WOW ... I just made that all up ... and now I'm a guru !!! Guess I better buy a few MNKD shares ! the nickel is still in me. Regarding the time frame, look left. MNKD went from 11.98 to $4.75 in 3 months.....bounced and back to 4.75 the whole damage 5 months. that is the same wedge price is climbing now. $6.05 the first target, $6.50 the next, then $7.50, 10.15, 11,20, and that took 4 months, we should hit $6.50 next week, we hit 6.44 yesterday. that took 4 months.... hmmm EOY could be doable. perhaps not totally flippant of me...... This is my reflective moment. |

How does one justify $12/sh on fundamentals? I can't contribute anything regarding patterns in charts so perhaps that actually indicates $12 in 6 months... though that would be sky high P/E even on optimistic forward earnings basis. Is there anyone that would really take an even money bet that we'll cross $12 in 6 months? I think TA can be good for timing entries and exits of stocks when the indicators are reasonable consistent with fundamentals. you are correct. It could be 7 or 8 months Case in point only because I looked at it today and saw the double. SPRY schrts.co/ASQMcqpyporkini caught the double. I was perhaps being a bit Facetious. it was in reply to price staying at 6 through to the end of year for context. I disagreed, so perhaps I went short. which doesn't diminish, triangle breaks are fast. I haven't used the word facetious in a long time. as with any trade, it could fail, have a stop.. |

Since this presents such a great technical setup, are you trading on it? If so, just as a suggestion (and you have zero obligation to do it, and I would not at all fault you for choosing not to), perhaps you can describe your trade (don't need to tell us how many shares), and how it works out or gets stopped out? An actual example of a trade (or trades) will go a longer way to show how a trader thinks than just describing every interesting setup you see but don't act on. Just sayin'. I am fully invested, I own plenty of MNKD. The trade as it presents. let's look at it together. I am open to all suggestion from the board on the trade. The trigger was $5.76/$5.77. seen best on the weekly. I have been watching for the volume increase on the trigger, and that was a check. high volume as seen on the daily. Also there was a continuation the next day, check, on high volume, check. Then today a stall, on lower volume, price what 11 cents from 6 year highs..... The stop, these are always difficult, if price doesn't hold $5.75 it is a failure. Off the daily, I might put in $5.50, and move it up with the trade. It is a trade, with a tight stop and a target.
The first pretty good up trade that has presented for MNKD in years.
We can all see the trade, the trigger. These trades can fail.... the stop. The target?
A cleaner cup and handle is the one UTHR put in, price broke through the top of the cup.
This is a triangle that made what resembles a handle. A break, a trigger,
A bet.
These set ups as far as I know are fast.
Triangles in general are fast.
It is a risk reward. No one has to believe it. It is the deal of a hand at a table. Get a grip people.

You know, I'd be perfectly happy just to see it stay over $6 through EOY. Don't be greedy! That is not the way this chart pattern works. Use the UTHR daily as your template. With any luck MNKD share price will be at $12 by EOY. Strange side note..... The kinks, popped up on my tube tube screen today, the song showing was LOLA. I do not like the subject matter however, I find myself singing along. Happy Labor Day weekend everyone. |

We can argue about reasons why he sold, whether or not it was planned, etc., but I donât think you can argue against the fact that the timing of announcement sucks. perhaps the blow will be softened if MNKD once again brings out, INsulin and OUTsulin. Worth a try? |

Sorry, BD. On reflection I disliked my glib, âBaby needs a new pair of shoes.â so deleted it. Your comment was funny though so I wanted to acknowledge where it came from. Everyone knows, buy low, sell high, but we donât like it when the CEO does it. Volume today was way less than yesterday. Iâm guessing this bull run is about spent, and MC thinks so too. As far as MNKD volume today being less than yesterdays volume, look at UTHR's volume on a daily coming out of its triangle. schrts.co/JAgEFysE Why the uppy? Perhaps it is because MNKD revenue is going up and MNKD is getting out of debt.? What is the dilution going to be? |

MannKind and United Therapeutics will be presenting at both the Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo conferences. Still question why the run up, and whether it will continue. Regardless, it was a very good day! I have been waiting for the break out. UTHR broke out at $251 dollars now trading $359. I have been waiting for UTHR share price to pull MNKD share price up. The partnership and all.... |

There are also 3 conference participation early in the next 2 weeks.... may be some good staff can out-come as well. May be some other good target price raising, as well  Hopefully I love this set up. Triangle breaks. It is said, all the longs and shorts fighting.... creates pressure. then the pressure breaks.... price goes in that direction. MNKD has been a three year pressure cooker since the UTHR deal. Ever work a pressure cooker with the weight on top. The weight starts to jiggle and the steam starts coming out...... Under pressure. |

I may have it wrong. It seems to me in the year 2000 the "sell in May and go away" was still the motto. something like, how much more would be in the account had people done that and bought lower. However now, so many computers, so much USD floating around and 24 hour trading, It may have changed to "buy in May and Stay." Cost averaging and all. 401k's sure have changed the market. Go MNKD. |

If "they" were covering (yet), it seems the volume would be higher.Alternate theory: the price may get driven down once again between now and 2Q earnings release. sneaky huh? Almost everyone gone from this board and ...... hardly any sellers..... In the middle of the low volume because Wall Street is at Nantucket. |
