Yes, the steamed broccoli, caulifower, etc---
Plus, keeping in mind AGE's----Advanced Glycation Endproducts, consuming enough but not too many calories, real foods rather than homogenized preservative/additive laden processed foods.
In other words, it is possible (unfortunately not possible for those living in the Food Deserts in which far too many are trapped by exogenous forces) to consume what tastes good and is good for us---- and, if human beings were actually allowed enough time to eat slowly, enjoying conversation with other human beings, let alone enough time/funds/wherewithal to cook/make find healthful/very satisfying food----
Spoke with a patient yesterday, Type II who becomes off and on insulin dependent, who with just five pounds of weight gain is back on insulin--- but struggles constantly with that five pounds---brilliant, vital man-----
Those five pounds appear within days of eating fast food sandwiches on the run, when he works even harder to satisfy corporate demands/expectations.
This cycle clearly is a constant in the world driven by constant monitoring of productivity and creative quarterly financial engineering imposed upon human beings by mega multinational corporations.
All he needs is Afrezza------- but a resistant endo-----but the tide will turn. I have index card size handout with links to data/resources that I give these patients-----

Re: Statements of former Sanofi pharm rep in above suit---
Absolute verification of what we all suspected------inadequate support, whether intentional or intentional by lack of action and support--------

Re: sophie's reply about "synthetic chemicals for drugs"-- I am confused by this poster's implied negative implications of this phrase and MNKD/FDKP in the same thought--- What is not synthesized in some way? Everything is synthesized---- This is a very strange post, so I request clarification and comments from those more knowledgeable about chemistry/organic chemistry/chemical engineering.

You are forgetting to consider the wholesale pharmacy brokers-----McKesson, Cardinal, etc etc etc------they are "the middlemen"------there are around 5-6 major pharmaceutical wholesalers in the country---this has been mentioned specifically by others in better posts ----

Liver toxicity----more likely to have been the non-steroid anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs), no matter which exact type. Unfortunately this is not sufficiently recognized, nor are people instructed about this possibility--- And, perhaps greater problems with low-quality OTC generics----an unrecognized risk. See this article from 2003 specifically about one NSAID--- qjmed.oxfordjournals.org/content/96/11/787.short

I emphasize "implied" antigens, given the molecular sizes possible now with Technosphere-----size of molecules of antibodies/antigens etc etc not relatively dissimilar.
And, re desensitization 50 years ago-----no comment, other than read current state of the art.
And, desensitization means frequent visits for sometimes a long overarching period of time. And, recipients must wait for varying amounts of time for possible adverse reactions. And, there are uncommon, but known adverse conditions to long courses of sensitizations-----

Yes, it should be an "in"----as Afrezza would be considered to be in this group.
Standards lag, and there was no effective communication/education/discussion under the Sanofi reign, so now this can be addressed effectively.
