Peppy, why are you waking me up? I'm on the rogue river fishing for king salmon (yum) On May 25th I asked you to post that weekly chart with the positive crossover on MACD and said it was a huge confirmation...I also said in this thread I believe that it caused me to make my first add in quite a while. Wake me up when we're at $10, the fed might be purchasing shares by then Heh. I wanted to know where the hell you were. I comment a lot on trading action. Lol, actually it was May 22 in this thread, yes took a nice "Father's Day week" visiting my youngest. He got his first pharmacist job up here in Oregon, best was when we had lunch after him picking us up at the airport, he took out his debit card to pay, that was a first LOL!! We had a good laugh!!

!!! Continuing good news. How unexpected !!! Next sale (or a stop) around $2.25, lets hope it happens soon Measured move to $7.50. I had my doubts, however price and volume are acting well.

I see that Kevinmik has posted Dexcom trial abstracts on Stocktwits more than an hour ago. Pretty big deal. Not a peep about it over here, bc nobody posts here anymore. I know some have changed their tune on management, but what am I missing? Some "know (first hand) what they own" and don't need to follow Kevinmik etc. . Some have locked up their shares and will let things take their natural course. Others continue to respond to detractors. Then there are those who are tortured and cannot book a loss and move on or have booked a loss and hang around to instigate. That is what you're missing

I saw an article recently that said overall trading volume is 3x what it normally is. There are probably a number of factors: * Trades are now "free" just about everywhere * Lockdown giving everyone tons of free time * Covid19 induced volatility (probably the biggest reason) Agree on all three. Adding: a few trillion helicopter money 🤷♂️🤦♂️

I'm looking at a possible SPX 3030 and then it will be sell in May, go away for this old cat via SPY puts. That is where it will cause the most pain for the shorts and most hope for the bulls. IMO and what Mr. Chart is telling me, should be interesting the next week or so. Amazing if that can be done to my way of thinking. Although DJIA stocks like apple can continue buy backs and still has buyers. NASDAQ, I am sure the same can be said for amazon. What I think I have learned chart wise, through the .618, look for test of top. Latest estimate: -17.6 percent — May 5, 2020 The GDPNow model estimate for real GDP growth (seasonally adjusted annual rate) in the second quarter of 2020 is -17.6 percent on May 5, down from -16.6 percent on May 1. After yesterday's and today’s data releases by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, the U.S. Census Bureau, and the Institute for Supply Management, the nowcasts of second-quarter real personal consumption expenditures growth and second-quarter real gross private domestic investment growth decreased from -20.4 percent and -21.7 percent, respectively, to -21.7 percent and -22.1 percent, respectively. Continued this discussion in the SPX resistance thread

awesomo and mango, maybe you can start a thread on something like MNKD vs. NVAX but this one is getting hijacked and it's primarily been a volume/TA thread and it would be greatly appreciated to keep it that way. Thank you -J and just an FYI mango, NVAX had a very successful phase 3 trial recently and is a big part of the recent s/p increase as it could possible bode well for a COVID-19 vaccine using their technology...apples and oranges when comparing to current MNKD and reasons for current market cap based on historical events. Again, another thread would be more appropriate for discussion purposes.

Thank you all very much, MN, it's a blessing and a curse (not really just they stayed on top of me like having to do my breathing exercises using a hand held spirometer doing 10 big inhales every couple of hours, lol). brentie, special shout out for CYDY, picked up some of that after your posts and doing some due diligence. Been in and out of INO, currently holding 12600 sh., sold some NVAX today but still holding 4800 shares, been trading my KL shares almost daily, still holding 200 contracts long. Made some nice swing trades on the SPY's, peppy had nailed that pretty well with her kerplop....few other positions, ironically the day trading helped me not lose my mind while in quarantine ....the fact that I received my Afrezza from Optum is giving me hope that we won't remain under $1 but we shall see...again thanks for the kind thoughts and words.

So on Tues. the 17th of Mar. I contracted Covid-19, I know this because of a friend of mine who I day trade with. We were trading at his house that Tues. and he tested positive and ended up in the hospital for 6 days. I was tested on Mon. 23rd of Mar. and it was confirmed with test result phone call I rec'd on Sat. the 28th of Mar. I was in quarantine through today. I have been fever free for 3 full days with no other symptoms. I was emailed a letter today from the Southern Nevada Health District stating I do not have to remain in isolation/quarantine. I went through a rough patch for about 2 weeks, fevers every day, dry coughing, acute myalgia, chills. Fortunately, I had my younger son (pharmacist) and wife (ICU RN) home with me and my older son (physician) chatting via our group text. He has been and continues on daily think groups and conferences through out this ordeal. He had my son and wife looking in the medicine cabinets for chloroquine that he had before going to on a trip to Belize a couple of years ago...that was almost 4 weeks ago so he was on it. Never did find it though lol. I took a Z-pack, lots of vitamin C, and some Saint John's Wort. Not sure what helped me come through this as a 60yr. old T2 but all I know is how grateful I am that I was able to avoid going to the hospital and so fortunate to have an awesome family and great friends...my pizza guy went to the restaurant depot here in town and helped us get eggs, ground beef, and bottled water along with dropping off two dozen bagels . I did receive my Afrezza refill from Optum/UHC shipped to my door via FedEx so that was a very welcomed surprise. I plan on donating my plasma this week so hopefully my antibodies will be able to help others who are struggling with this little bugger. Just thought I would share, hope everyone else manages to stay out of harms way.

My Schwab rate went from 48% to 50% today. Go figure! There are funds out there shorting all the microcaps that are financially weak. The expectation is that the majority will be sufficiently damaged as to make the short position pay off. It's not directed at MNKD specifically, but rather a few hundred companies of which MNKD is one. To be clear this is not about expecting these companies to go bankrupt (although they would view that as a bonus), but rather that the companies will need finance and the terms will hamstring their growth and hence their price. In a down turn the weakest companies always struggle and that's what the shorts are betting on. Equal to the task are those who are financially strong soaking up the cheap shares of good companies while others are fearful or having to liquidate...buying shares with selling volatility premiums through the roof can make for some very nice compounded returns (not specific to mnkd). Both call and put spreads are unbelievable right now. Going long and selling way out of the money calls with very high premiums this past week was a gift, I suspect that will change with volatility coming in somewhat.

Just an fyi: today I took Afrezza that's been in my laptop bag in varying temperatures for close to two years...I went to meet a friend for brunch and realized I left my little zip pack home that I normally carry on me in my pocket. It worked same as always...it never ceases to amaze me!! 😉

Thanks for that Mannmade. 6 doses is an interesting thing as in what is a dose. Given that the medicine is of equal strength and I take 4 3 unit cartridges; I'd guess that this is a "dose". But, if the glucose # is too high in 90 minutes because I miscalculated then I would take another cartridge as a corrective measure. Would you consider this a 2nd dose? I think that Mannkind is yielding information on the conservative side. Someone else mention why there isn't the retention that we would like to see. My answer to this is that is a learning curve which requires confidence and the chance to personally confirm Afrezza's positive affects. For me, there was an adjustment (described by others as a tickle in the back of the throat). I got use to it. The real challenge for me which made me feel like a moron was that I was under dosing for too long trying to associate certain foods with how much insulin I needed to neutralize the blood sugar. So now I'm not just taking a 12 unit for a bagel. Yes, I shouldn't be eating bagels; however I like them and consider the carb content in them so I now adjust with 16 units for just the bread. It's all individual based on the Body Mass Index. Bloggers have posted that they eat up to 5 or 6 times a day with smaller portions and asking that 2 unit cartridges be made available. @ 6 times a day that would be more than 6 doses a day which is the guideline. Lastly, because food is no longer just categorized as "what is delicious"; my new interpretation is seeing food much differently broken into Carbs, Fat, Protein, & Sugar. I can't say that Afrezza has made me lose weight; but I can say that for 10 years I weighed 220 lbs. This morning I am at 190. I think the weight loss is do to thinking about and motivated by controlling my diabetes. thank you for your contribution. Bagels are my kryptonite....I wish my buddy who makes them didn't because they are the best...for those that remember...he's the same as my pizza guy lol...still has his shares btw.

The WHO is estimating 18 mos before a vaccine. I did hear from two different sources yesterday - though I’ve yet to read about it anywhere - that China has medication now available to some degree to help those who have contracted the virus. GILD has a vaccine that is currently being used by approximately 1000 patients in China. GILD is trading at just below $70.00/ share. Lost a couple dollars on Friday. NVAX is up to around $16/share from below $10/ share on Thursday. Its impossible to determine which company will have the quickest and greatest success at this point, but the upside can be strong! As always, do your own DD! Good luck all!! GILD has deep inroads with NIH...that's where my bet is ...can't even begin to compare the two companies infrastructure and networks not to mention balance sheets. Their acquisition of KITE took a a while for the market to digest but IMO they're the least risky play as they will not take as much of a setback due to their diversification GL ...hope they all make progress in short order
