I think Sam Finta used to refill monthly, but have recently switched to every 3 month. I think Spiro gets it monthly. Rick also refills monthly. stocktwits.com/rckhrrr Jun. 25 at 1:55 PM rckhrrr @nwrong My Educated Guess is that Many New Scripts are Now being Written for a Minimum of 90 Days to START With! Better Results that Way! đź‘Ť Bullish 1 5 via StockTwits for iOS Jun. 25 at 12:01 PM rckhrrr @nwrong No! I refill every 30 Days with 180 Pack! However You can get it every 90 days & that would Be (3) 180 Packs on one Pick Up! Bullish Thanks:-) Fyi, Rick uses one titration pack (i.e., 6 cartridges a day/two cartridges a meal) each month as he inhales both before and after the meal.

For what's it's worth I know no one who gets monthly prescriptions. They are for 3 months. So I just asked some people I know on Twitter. They said 3 months also. Tom's kids have always been 3 months. I can't find anyone who's script is for a month ... Sorry what I meant was the scripts are for a year and re-fill is every 3 months. I think Sam Finta used to refill monthly, but have recently switched to every 3 month. I think Spiro gets it monthly. Rick also refills monthly. stocktwits.com/rckhrrr

Thank you Compound26 for taking the time and effort to provide the info you have posted. And thank you as well, Kastanes. Although I am almost positive, (as I have tried before) that the $150 out-of-pocket does not apply to me since my Plan "covers" Afrezza with Prior Authorization, I will try calling the 855-262-5296 phone number. alethea , if you are paying cash, then whether your insurance covers Afrezza is an irrelevant issue, right? I think if you elect to pay in cash, you can just tell the pharmacy (that fills your Afrezza prescription) that you are not covered by insurance and see if they can apply the Afrezza savings card for you. [Based on my personal experience, though I have medical insurance in general, I elect to waive the dental insurance. So each time when I visit my dentist, they charge me a cash rate (which I understand is somewhat different from the rate that they will charge if I have dental insurance).]

I am not eligible for the "maximum $150 out of pocket" discount program. I have checked - twice. Actually I think Afrezza is technically "covered" by my insurance but with Prior Authorization. I and my doctor tried to go the PA route and I was denied. I'm just rolling with the tide as best I can until next year when I will go into Medicare. Hoping for some relief when that happens. The $2,500 donuthole looks really good to me compared to my current lack of coverage. Hoping to find a Medicare Supplement Plan that covers Afrezza - even at Tier 3 or 4. I can only hope. alethea @kastanes I had some correspondences with Mike on this. Here is a summary of what Mike told me: 1. Mannkkind does not have control over retail end pricing at the pharmacy. 2. You may consider getting the titration box with 90/90 of 4/8 as this should be cheaper on a unit basis. 3. You are encouraged to email Mannkind at freedom@mannkindcorp.com. Mannkind get most PAs approved if the doctor/patient want to go to the appeals etc. Quite unthinkable that you have insurance and yet have to pay cash. 4. Mannkind also has free goods programs available if someone is not on medicare yet. You can contact Mannkind to find more details on that. Also, I think you can contact Mannkind to find out whether they can make the Mannkind savings card work for your prescription. My understanding [note: this is purely my personal understanding] is that the savings card should be applicable if you are paying in cash. I do not see any restrictions in this area based on my reading of the materials on Afrezza.com regarding Afrezza savings card. www.activatethecard.com/afrezza7354/#*Offer is not valid for patients if their prescriptions are paid in part or in full by any state or federally funded programs, including, but not limited to, Medicare or Medicaid, Medigap, VA, DOD or TRICARE. Offer is not valid, where prohibited by law. MannKind Corporation reserves the right to rescind, revoke, or amend this offer without notice. Maximum benefit is $150 per prescription depending on your out-of-pocket costs for the duration of the program. Eligibility criteria: Only patients who reside in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands can participate in this program. If you have any questions about this program, please call 855-262-5296, or if you have questions about AFREZZA, talk to your healthcare professional.

Several ProBoard members used to send information to Mike on his blog site but once Mike became CEO and locked his blog site, I don't think anyone can communicate with him at present. Anyone can talk to him that he follows. But I'm not go to ask him to do anything. And that's that. Mike still replies direct messages via Twitter. I had a few exchanges with him in the last several weeks.

For your information, here is what Matt Pfeffer has said in the 2016 third quarter CC: seekingalpha.com/article/4021887-mannkinds-mnkd-ceo-matthew-pfeffer-q3-2016-results-earnings-call-transcript?part=singleI also have question comes through related to some confusion about our cash position and what cash is actually available, so I’ll try to answer that one, because I have actually seen that misrepresenting a bunch of times, because many talk about a requirement under the Deerfield debt agreement that we maintain $25 million worth of cash, and I say, we will take it down to as we work into the quarter, $35 million, that means you really only have $10 million available. That’s not actually true. The way that debt agreement was structured is that included not only cash, but also available burrowing. So as long as we have $25 million or more available from the Mann Group, for example, we don’t have to maintain a minimum cash balance under that agreement.

They have to have a minimum of 25M reserved in cash at all times under Deerfield terms. Did you factor that in? No, this is not true. They can spend that $25M to zero as long as at quarter end they have a line of credit (like the line of credit they have with Mann Group) of at least $25M. This has been explained many times, including by Matt P. himself.

Hmm. Is there lots of 000's at the end of that number? Nope, and for example on the same list they have 273,753 shares of Apple worth $41,818,508. as 3.35% of the Fund, so the numbers are not truncated. The numbers are probably truncated by ,000. I think the value listed there reflecting all the shares held by Vanguard funds. It is more likely Vanguard funds' holding of Apple is $41 billion rather than merely $41 million. Since Apple consist 3% of the Vanguard funds as the search shows, at $41 million, vanguards funds will be at a total value of $1.2 billion. I would think it is more likely $1.2 trillion.

I read through the slides. I was confused on what the timeline might be. It looks like 6 months is the most likely timeframe. Anyone else seeing this? centralcoastinvestor There was someone from Brazil made a comment on the Afrezza facebook group stating that "Afrezza's arrival forecast is until the end of 2017". www.facebook.com/groups/1491153011166114

Hilarious. You have no idea if that's true or not but you decide to spout FUD. Guess I should have said In my opinion, etc., although I thought that was obvious. As for my spouting "FUD," that charge would come as a surprise to all the bashers who've accused me of being a MNKD "pumper" as I continue to buy more shares in the company and defend its management (and Nate Pile). As I read your post I thought of an old phrase that seemed to fit you. TOP DEFINITION
Woke up on the wrong side of the bed
Alt: Got up on the wrong side of the bed. (Past Tense)
An expression that is typically used to describe a grumpy or irritable person, especially when the reason for their unhappiness is unknown.
It can also be used to describe when somebody wakes up in a bad mood which then lasts all day, possibly because they didn't get enough sleep or had an unpleasant dream the night before.
The phrase dates back to Ancient Rome, where it was considered bad luck to get out of bed from the left side, which itself originated in a very old superstition saying that everything related to the left-hand side was inherently unlucky. The modern English expression reflects that myth with a tongue-in-cheek play on words, suggesting that a grouchy person must have gotten out of bed on the "wrong" side, as opposed to the "right" side.
"What's with Wendy? She seems annoyed about something."
"I don't know, maybe she got up on the wrong side of the bed today."

nylefty I believe the FUD reference was not with respect to your post. It was with respect to an earlier post that you quoted.

glucemapoc.com/glucemapoc.com/?page_id=1558SALIENT FEATURES OF GLUCEMA TEST Easy to use non-invasive test 2-5 minutes to read from a drop of saliva Test once every 7-14 days Provides quick estimate of recent average glucose levels to monitor treatment Ok - I'm sold sign me up, where can I buy it? This looks really useful. I knew that your body dumps excess sugar into your saliva (I can taste when I am high) but I didn't realize it persisted. Ok, if it's cheap, I might buy one.
