Where is 60-minutes ? The Mannkind Afrezza story would be a blockbuster ratings booster for them. With the high price of insulin in the news, insulin is on the front burner. Pay CBS $5 million to run the story. Seriously? I worked as a news editor at CBS twice (before and after NBC) and can testify that it doesn't take bribes to run stories. And at this point I don't see the Afrezza story being of interest to 60 Minutes. It might be if Afrezza was cheaper than the alternatives - but it isn't. Blockbuster ratings booster? Dream on.

Interesting that the same people are posting all day and just doing a rotation. Don't they have anything else to do? Maybe they should get a job ... or wake up later. But, that's just mytakeonit Maybe a thread could be created just for the paranoid to discuss the conspiring cabal lurking on proboards? It would be more amusing as an ongoing discussion of its own.

No one is creating mass market buzz and we are dealing with surgical adoption. As misdirected as Elizabeth Holmes was, she was able to create mass market buzz.

I remember a film guy posted on this message board some years ago, he was interviewing Afrezza users and going to make a blockbuster documentary about the Mannkind story. I forget the details, but I'm pretty sure it never worked out. I just did a quick search, and found the old thread easily enough: mnkd.proboards.com/thread/5805/afrezza-documentary-coming

What we need is like a CEO of a multi billion dollar pharma to get this done. Oh wait hold up just a minute we had one and He gave up in 6 months. It takes more than a name and money to get something like this done. Its called foresight, patience, tenacity, and perseverance. Al Mann had those qualities and I cant think of a better fit to drive this home than Mike. Hes been on this but 2 years and this has done a 180. Our direction is clear as an investor I stand with Al Manns attributes. I had the foresight, ive been patient, and now im going to be tenacious in my stand with Mike in Mannkind. Will discuss persistence when we have won. To me asking for bonuses and raise isn't exactly demonstrating traits of patience and perseverance. There isn't a lot for him to be persevering. He's being treated very well. Would be nice if he were a little more sympathetic and thus forthright with us shareholders that didn't have the foresight to avoid investing in MNKD way too soon, and thus have been forced into patience and perseverance. Perseverance is a great word to describe the long time shareholders actually counting on this as an investment. Amen. Investors are expected to be patient and persevering, but even immediately after the December Massacre, mgmt expected their annual bonus and now want a raise.

But, that's just mytakeonit Well, it is funny you say that as you are the eleventh most frequent poster (according to the message board statistics) on this forum. I've been here nearly 2 years longer than you have, and yet you have nearly as many posts as I do. Voilà mon opinion, en tout cas.

She was unscrupulous without a real tech, but if you married someone with her sales ability with Afrezza & Technosphere, it could create an explosive combo...

I think if Afrezza were harmful, ineffective and dangerous it would be more widely accepted & higher up in the treatment ladder.
But, thatsjustmytakeonit

No mnkdfann ... the above was not me. AND, I'm the eleventh most frequent poster on this forum?!!! Wow, I guess I'll just have to try harder ... or wake up earlier. I never posted for a long time and just read the posts ... Till I noticed that certain people just got into other people's faces and totally ruined the board. That's when I decided to post just to buffer for these people. Smack talker/posters don't bother me and I can handle them without showing the hatred that they emulate. So yes, I can see that any paid basher would hate to see me online. BTW, I may be posting more now because there are many interesting ideas/things about to prevail.
But, that's just mytakeonit
