Matt is confident that lines 2 and 3 will be running by the end of the month if they aren't running already.
Matt acknowledged the desire for a 2U cartridge. He said they intended to consider it in conjunction with pediatrics but based on the perceived demand, they're considering it now. I like the fact they are already talking about the 2U cartridge - shows that even in these very early days they are listening to their patients - who are ultimately the customers. That's been a pretty frequent comment in patient interviews so good to see them addressing it. "Take care of the patients and the stock price will take care of itself". Looks like Al has given us another quote for the ages.

"(to use an idiomatic expression consistent with the affections of this board)." Are you sure you didn't mean "affectations?" Of those 35 people, I thought I heard somewhere that 5 of them were baristas. Any truth in that?

One of my big fears is Matt poaches Harry from here! I have a theory that Harry actually IS either Matt or Al. Have you ever seen them in the same place at the same time? How else could he get all the information he gets?

Quote: Prescription uptake. Modest so far. I think things are right on the brink of changing that. Media and twitter. Buzz positive. Regarding: Symphony numbers....... stay tuned, I think we are on the brink of some pretty interesting things.
Slide # 13
View Attachment Could this be the week where everything changes? RXs numbers growing x^y. Oh that would send my heart a flutter.

I was thinking the same thing, but i haven't heard anything new in a very long time. If his is the case (and I am not speculating that it is), it would mean that there are two different pain medications, one using an approved API and the other a new compound from Torrey Pines. yes, this must be the thing matt was talking about that gets leaked... the patent applications, etc... as this is new compound, it will require long clinical trials to get this up and running. that is why matt said there may be some announcement, but it isn't going to affect the bottom line... so not to get hopes up to see any material affect until few years down the road...

What has leaked out by them, though? Would an inhaled GLP-1 be considered a new molecular entity?

Yes, sny was asked if they were interested in oral glp-1, they responded they were very interested in it but did not have any internal pipeline to enter the arena with.

I think pulmonary was the lead product, and pain has now caught up; oncology product is running third currently. And "other" is cloaked in secrecy for now, so that's fine.
Heard the presentation, very strong! It certainly seems as though Sanofi let the reins loose two or three conferences ago. I'm sure MNKD asked forcefully that they be allowed to speak a bit more freely.
Key phrase - "on the brink" - hope Matt's "brink" is about as long as my "brink." Brinks tend to be about the same length, don't they?

With the subject being MNKD "on the brink", a quickie google search heightens the suspense:
Brinkmanship (also brinksmanship) is the practice of pushing dangerous events to the brink of disaster in order to achieve the most advantageous outcome.

I'm reminded of the book "Season on the Brink" about IU and coach Robert Montgomery Knight.
