Matt is confident that lines 2 and 3 will be running by the end of the month if they aren't running already.
Matt acknowledged the desire for a 2U cartridge. He said they intended to consider it in conjunction with pediatrics but based on the perceived demand, they're considering it now.

LOL. Matt called MNKD "a battle ground stock".
He acknowledged he gets down from time to time and when that happens, he consults his number one mentor, Al Mann, who reminds him that paradigm shifting technology is often the target of naysayers and short sellers...but things have worked out pretty well for Al in his career. Al says, take care of the patient first and the rest will take care of itself. Very nice commentary by Matt on this point IMO.

The second Technosphere application is already in development. It "leapt ahead" and is now "neck and neck" with the first product in development.

Prior authorization is an issue. Reconfirms that it is fixing itself in the 6-9 month range but that SNY has also put a package together to make it easier for docs to get prior authorization more easily.

Did you interpret that to be from now, or (as some have indicated due to automatic tier adjustment at 6 months) from launch?

Does anyone know what the new chemical entity for the Technosphere platform that Matt mentioned while on slide 18? Matt said that there have been questions about it, probably because the other party has talked about it.

I believe he was referring to a new chemical entity at the time, iirc.

Matt said that there have been questions about it, probably because the other party has talked about it. I was thinking he was talking about Torrey Pines. "The drug is being developed in partnership with Mannkind Corp., which has created a small device that allows people to inhale medicine. By inhaling, the medicine can relieve pain quicker than through pill form, Houghten said." www.tcpalm.com/business/torrey-pines-could-begin-human-testing-of-new-in
