I think the VAST majority of diabetics do not go on line to access diabetic sites, nor do they read any of the diabetes related magazines. The ONLY ways they are going learn about Afrezza is from their doctors or from television ads. And most of them will not hear about it from their docs. The importance of DTC tv ads is critical. We don't need TV ads, I skip through them unless I am watching sports or the news because everything gets DVRed and I skip the ads. We would be better off getting free TV time like the NEWS like Eric's Baltimore NEWS. Free and people watch it and it doesn't have 30 seconds of side effects. Diabetics read Diabtetes Magazines What makes you think diabetics read diabetic magazines?. I can only speak to anecdotal information gleaned from many years of knowing a number of diabetics, learned ones that read other subjects even MANY other subjects. It would seem that none subscribed to or read such magazines. Do people with heart disease subscribe to cardiovascular related magazines?. Do people with cancer subscribe to and read some sort of oncology newsletters?

The older Type 2's are the ones that need the T.V. They don't tend to have e-mail, PC's or smart phones. Other than TV they're going to have to hear it from their Doc. I work with seniors. Doctors send them to me to help get their blood pressure down through cardio. I don't know one that has a tablet.

Yup well we need TV to cast the widest net. Docs and some patients or potential patients read therapeutic oriented magazines. But the majority of patients will get exposure via TV ads. Guess at best it is an AND not an OR as we really need both (and soon).

I'm 81 and don't have a tablet, although I do have a desktop computer and a smartphone (and have been online since 1987). Most of my friends are in their seventies and eighties and with one exception we email each other (or post on Facebook).

Maybe it is time to expand your business and not just help them get their BP down but get them online! You do know that watching youtube videos of cats playing the piano is more effective in reducing blood pressure than anything else, right?

Good point! I am trying. I would love it if they would just get a phone they could text on. They would never dream of getting their own brokerage account. Buying a bio stock or posting on a stock board! None of my younger friends would either! We live in a different world from the average person. Most of my friends think I'm crazy for even being in the stock market! So very good to hear about the seniors who are online and MNKD longs!!
