Hopefully people use this thread to continue to new job postings because it looks like they are hiring directly as Mike had stated in last CC. Primarily all Business Manager positions posted today but I would anticipate they would hire mostly from their outsourced force. Again this is a thread for JOB OPENINGS therefore it doesn't need to be hijacked with anything regarding Colby Pharma or AlleCures on ridiculous speculation it would be marketed by Mannkind reps.

There are 21 total postings. The location is given for each position. This gives us an idea of where they are targeting and how big of an effort. This does seem like a lot of people to be hiring given the current cash situation. Realistically, these won't be filled until after the holidays, and there will be more time needed to train people. Optimistically, we will see an impact on sales towards the end of 1Q 2017.

I would imagine most in place right now (including current Area Business Managers) would just transition to a Mannkind employee.

Does anyone here recall anyone from Mannkind mentioning that kind of important fact that they were going to be using temp workers as a sales force back during the heady days of summer? I was very alert to the relaunch and am surprised that I missed this bit of important information if I missed it. Anyone know?

Don't recall mention of temps. If anything and granted I had more than willing ears, I recall this feeling of 60-70 highly motivated professionals. Further I vaguely recall Mike talking them up & even implying we'd start seeing script impact in the mid-September timeframe. I guess technically they did go up a little but really pretty flat relative to what's needed.

What I do remember hearing was that a large Pharma company (their name escapes me at this time, the seventies were rough) was laying off a large number of their employees at the same time MNKD needed sales people and Mike C felt fortunate to be able to have this large amount of skilled people newly available in which to choose from. That is how I remember it. AstraZeneca reps.

I was very alert to the relaunch and am surprised that I missed this bit of important information if I missed it. Anyone know? What I recall is the announcement that they hired Publicis to help them hire reps and nurse educators, but they didn't specify that these would be just temporary employees. I also seem to remember Mike Castagna in some of his tweets boasting about the good selection of reps available because of various BP layoffs. Whatever happened to the nurse educators? Never seem to hear anything about them.

Thank you Sports! Maybe I should have "just said no" back then! If we got any of those reps is not clear. Even though I've been accused of living in a bubble. Some things do bother me. Moving forward through, I do think we will have some great people with passion selling Afrezza:-))
