This may have already been posted, but I thought I would share in the event it hadn't.
I was in an neurologist's office (big practice kind of place), and in the exam room there was a monitor of sorts. "Ads" would cycle through there, about eating well, blah, blah, and I wasn't paying attention to it. When the nurse came in to talk to me, I was looking at her and behind her was the screen and I saw Afrezza come up. So, at least they are doing this.

I am glad it was in an endo's office. Maybe if the endo's and their staff, see this, 7 times, afrezza will start being in their consciousness.

I'll give them credit where credit is due. It's a good looking ad.
I'm worried that it might have tempered effect due to limited circulation (doctor's offices as opposed to general broadcasting) but every bit helps.
I also hope doctors watch their own monitors. There would be some egg on a endo's face if a patient asked for it and had to explain to an ignorant physician that the advertisement is playing in their own waiting room!

While it might be good looking, there's not much to look at, is there? Compare some of the humalog print ads: adpharm.net/thumbnails.php?search=humalog&album=search&caption=&title=&keywords=&filename=&user1=&user2=Whose ads would grab your attention and make you want to look closer more?

I think comparing a monitor ad to a print ad is apples to oranges. The image will only be displayed for a few seconds before the screen changes. It needs to be a simple, clean and short blast that "Hey there's an inhaled insulin available". I think the ad does that. The Humalog ad is impressive, but that's assuming the reader has more than 15-20 seconds to take a look at it. If MNKD put the monitor ad in a magazine then I'd agree with you. For a tv screen with only a few seconds to look at it, I think it's fine.

For myself, I doubt that that afrezza ad would last five seconds in my memory banks.

You know that's had to have happened multiple times.

Anyone know what the comment "needing lungs to get used to Afrezza" was about? This is the first I have heard of needing to build tolerance. Thought cough could be prevented by drinking a cup of water right before inhaling?

"I am going to ask my doctor if afrezza is right for me. If it is, we are going to make some changes"
It would be nice if the physician was able to learn enough about afrezza, including dosing, that the physician would say, yes. It would be nice if the physician said, "with all insulins there is a dose learning curve. Afrezza has nurses to help with, How to dose. You will be able to eat carbs now." Toast.

Thought cough could be prevented by drinking a cup of water right before inhaling? Some have said there is a little bit of scratchiness. Some said phelgm. I'm thinking maybe V-8 juice would be better than water? But all said it went away.

Does it usually take a few days, a week, a month? I wonder if this has any effect on the low refill numbers.
