not sure about all the negativity? i agree with peppy on this one. the entire ad is centered around not having to time your meals and insulin. i expect that it is a compelling value proposition for diabetics who must spend tons of time planning their meals in advance, though i can not speak from experience as i am not diabetic. very happy with the ad though, the legal stuff was not (in my mind) distracting from the visuals depicting on-demand eating. kudos to the mannkind marketing team! Umm. No they don't (as a diabetic). You simply inject at the start of the meal. That said, there are diabetics out there still on non-RAA insulin and they do have to plan their meals. However the reason they are on non-RAA is usually because they have no, or bad insurance cover and it's all they can afford so they are not really a market for Afrezza (I wish they were).

Why has there only been 1 airing of the commercial so far? Granted it was at the first commercial break, but still... Two now. Airtime does cost. No reason to pay for repeating same commercial at every break. Google trends does show some uptick of searches for Afrezza. Wonder if it will be more pronounced after show ends. trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=now%201-d&q=afrezza

I really like it. It is very different from most drug commercials I have seen. It's funny and a little goofy. With the funny food scenes, you don't really pay attention to the legal stuff. Really good commercial.

If you look at the past 4 hours tab, it seems (if I read that page correctly) that the queries have been driven by people (investors here?) searching for "afrezza commercial".

Thanks for the link, I could view the commercial there (after joining). I liked the commercial. It was funny (so far as medical commercials of this sort go) and looked good.

I think this commercial was good. Much better than "Surprise it's insulin" and "Outsulin." The warnings at the end are necessary.
Does anybody feel like this is the first time in a while Mannkind told us they were going to deliver something, and they did? Maybe we'll see international expansion or Technosphere licensing deals next!

I asked myself how I felt after viewing the commercial. The feeling that comes to mind is spontaneous and fun. I can tell you not too many drug commercials leave you feeling that way. Afrezza.....for a life that is spontaneous and fun. I like that a lot.
