The gist if the commercial seemed to be that life throws unexpected surprises at you when it comes to food. I cannot recall the exact words but, to paraphrase, it was, "Afrezza is there for you when you when injections aren't convenient or practical." I thought it was a pretty cool commercial and a solid message.

I really like it. It is very different from most drug commercials I have seen. It's funny and a little goofy. With the funny food scenes, you don't really pay attention to the legal stuff. Really good commercial. Yes... that is a key aspect of a good pharma commercial, having visuals that can be engaging while the necessary fine print is read, and I agree that this was pretty good at it. I do like the porcupine commercial for whatever drug it is that is selling the idea of no needles. Visuals there are clever. Think that could have also been a great commercial for Afrezza. Overactive bladder commercial is another that comes to mind that uses humor to draw focus to visuals. Many simply use good looking people in beautiful settings acting as if they don't have a care in life. More than a few times I thought, geez, maybe I should get that disease if it means frolicking on the beach with my beautiful family all of whom are happy. Lots of different formulas... this was a good use of humor.

I think this commercial was good. Much better than "Surprise it's insulin" and "Outsulin." The warnings at the end are necessary. Does anybody feel like this is the first time in a while Mannkind told us they were going to deliver something, and they did? Maybe we'll see international expansion or Technosphere licensing deals next! They told us a time frame for this commercial quite some time ago. If management announces that they'll have some deal done by a particular time, I'd absolutely believe them. To be fair to management they've already delivered both a technosphere deal (RLS) and international Afrezza deal (Brazil)... so another issue is even if further deals happen will they come with needed upfront money which neither one of these other deals did. You might be discounting these as not delivering, but management NEVER said they'd get either of those deals with large amounts of upfront money... as they still are not saying about any future deals. The failure to deliver in reality is only management failing to deliver compared to the pumping here on proboards. Management seems pretty measured in what they promise now. Though one that still bothers me is that earlier in the year I believe they said they would be releasing forward looking sales projections and they did not do that. They may still not have enough confidence to do that, but they shouldn't have claimed they would.

I thought it was kinda trippy. I liked it, of course.

Why has there only been 1 airing of the commercial so far? Granted it was at the first commercial break, but still... Two now. Airtime does cost. No reason to pay for repeating same commercial at every break. Google trends does show some uptick of searches for Afrezza. Wonder if it will be more pronounced after show ends. trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=now%201-d&q=afrezzaI'm not going to try to guess why the United States has fallen to 3rd under regions behind Hungary and Switzerland.

I'm not going to try to guess why the United States has fallen to 3rd under regions behind Hungary and Switzerland. From the little info button about interest by region... Note: A higher value means a higher proportion of all queries, not a higher absolute query count. So a tiny country where 80% of the queries are for "bananas" will get twice the score of a giant country where only 40% of the queries are for "bananas".

Does anyone know if ratings info is available from Bloomberg terminals or somewhere else?

There are so many tweets I can't keep up! I just heard there was a jump of 20-30 people joining Pattens Afrezza FB page.

Fun commercial. Good way of getting across the convenience factor. I hope it brings and RETAINS a bunch of new users.

I think I saw 2 full ads ... and one or two billboard ads.
BUT, the real question is ... Where was Laura?
