Not sure if this is the right thread--but has anyone seen analysis from Nate Pyle recently? Wondering if he's keeping the faith. Thanks. About a month ago he wrote a special piece on MannKind and posted a link for a free copy of Nate's Notes, his investment newsletter. He was upfront about promoting new subscriptions, and you might find his link on StockTwits MNKD. If you run a search you may find it faster. ...and he still advocates that MNKD is the investment of a lifetime.

Thanks for the responses--and yes, it was his latest "think piece" I was wondering about (I saw some of his tweets). Good to know he is still on the MNKD ship--despite the very rough seas.

Not sure if this is the right thread--but has anyone seen analysis from Nate Pyle recently? Wondering if he's keeping the faith. Thanks. I subscribe to Nate's Notes and his latest (Sept 11.) newsletter says the following (I hope Nate doesn't mind me posting this here): "As discussed above, there are a lot of events coming up that ought to either get the stock moving for us, or, alternatively, provide us with some additional evidence that perhaps it is time to scale back our expectations after all. Given everything I have heard on the patient side of the story, I continue to believe that we’ve got a winner on our hands, and as long as we don’t let our emotions shake us out of our positions, we are going to end up making a lot of money in the stock… but, as warned in previous issues, I’ve been wrong before, and could be wrong now as well. That being said, provided you are not getting yourself in over your head in terms of position size, MNKD remains a very strong buy under $7 and a buy under $10." Mind you, this was when the stock was $4.15. I have a lot of confidence in Nate's analysis in general, as his newsletter has one of the highest returns out of all the newsletters (although this result could be distorted because he picked AAPL and CELG very early in the game). I also think it would be hard for him to turn back on MNKD now since he's been so bullish on it all along, it would be like admitting he was wrong. If MKND pops then Nate is going to be a rockstar and the return on his newsletter will go way higher than it already is. If MNKD sinks, he will lose a lot of cred. So he has a lot riding on this. I tend to agree with his analysis of MNKD, although like everyone here I am getting very nervous as the price sinks lower. EDIT: Nate did post an update on 9/27 where he wrote, "...Yes, it is has been a really difficult story to endure, but based on the anecdotal evidence that continues to come in from the folks who are actually using Afrezza, I continue to believe that the drug really is going to become a game-changer when it comes to treating diabetics (and, perhaps just as importantly, pre-diabetics as well)." Apparently, he's still not jumping ship yet.

YMB still under assault. We'd be giving Y too much credit to equate this with Somalia pirates taking over the British Navy?

Attention: this thread is supposed to be for posting analyst comments, as in bona fide real-life financial institution analysts. It is not for posting SA articles and blog entries.
Clearly we have not been enforcing this, probably due to staff overload.
Instead of trying to move all the damn LFD junk over to the appropriate thread, I'd simply like to make the difference between analysts and bloggers (or SA authors) crystal clear. If it isn't coming from an actual analyst, please do not post about it in this thread.
Thanks!

Well, I did move everything pertaining to LFD to "Articles". Often when I'm reading or skimming posts, I'm not paying close attention to where it's posted - so I missed this.

FWIW - RBC busted us tonight. We were downgraded from out perform to under perform and the price target cut to $1 from $9. To me this is devastating and it screams for a corporate response.

Got the data via RBC proprietary research. They cite a "proprietary physician survey".
There is no public link.

Well we already know very few doctors are prescribing. And insurance hurdles. Still, if true, just before conference calls we will likely see more losses

Yeah, it's just that I've seen these "physician surveys" before - They interview 5 docs and conclude the company, stock, drug is worthless. The downgrade is worthless out of context.
