Good to see Europe, Africa and Asia included in the states for the patent filing. Yes, that would be negligent to not do that for a pharma company.

If Micheal doesn't give an update on RLS during the earning call, I hope someone asks him during the shareholder meeting what they are doing.

This is an older thread, I want to talk about what I have learned about cannabis. I met a person tonight on medical Marijuana. He suffers from significant back pain. What I think I learned. Medical marijuana here is sold in oils that are "vaped" The instrument looks like a pen. A battery pack on the bottom that is charged. The vapor top part of the pen is bought. he said the oil allows approximately 100 hits. The oils have different CBD/THC titration. I may be the last to know. The market seems to be chugging along.

I have a 65-yo relative who uses the vapor as well as cannabis pills/capsules after his doc cut him off from opioids for chromic back pain from multiple back surgeries and spinal fusions. He simple had to register in Minnesota (~$220 fee) for medical grade cannabis to be legally prescribed by his doctor and his insurance doesn't cover the cost.

He broke has back and has 6 screws in his vertebrae. His cost is running @ $500 dollars a month out of pocket.

Pennsylvania started selling medical marijuana in leaf form for vaping in August in addition to already available other forms containing various proportions of cannabidiol and THC. I suppose RLS could still have a market in Pennsylvania if insurance would pay for measured amounts of the drug. Don’t currety know if any insurance in Pennsylvania pays for marinol or not. Does anyone know if marinol or any other forms of marijuana are prescribed in any states and covered by insurance?

... Only a 5 minute onset compared to 1 to 2-1/2 hours for the other brands listed PLUS no effect on appetite, which the others cannot claim. I'm hoping that ,with Andrea helping with its development, an IND will soon be filed. That may trigger a 2nd milestone payment, too. I would have thought increased appetite would be good for cancer patients.

It DOES effect appetite, just that food does NOT effect how the compound is absorbed through the body as it is dosed via pulmonary route and not stomach..

The problem is there is no definition of food effect on the slide. I believe it to mean as as ryster stated, "It DOES effect appetite, just that food does NOT effect how the compound is absorbed through the body as it is dosed via pulmonary route and not stomach.."
