Does anyone know if there are restrictions on changing formularies midyear for the Exchange plans? It seems odd there would be such a drastic change in Commercial plans but not Exchange, since the Exchange plans are offered by the same companies. Why would UnitedHealth Group have 89% Covered for Commercial and 77% Not Covered for their Exchange plans. I would think it's the same committees/board that decides the formularies. Any thoughts? The coverage news still does not address the issues of pre authorization for Afrezza.

Skeptic... it's right there in his name. Are you skeptical that he is sincere? I think he’s very sincere. I also think he’s on here, and since he quotes me all the time on SeekingAlpha I thought I’d return the favor. Let’s just leave it at this:-) Nate's saying the short position is overcrowded? It's been insanely profitable for all those "misinformed" people over the years, so not surprising it's crowded.

Question is whether it's real or a data glitch as has happened in the past with that site.

Thanks brother for caring about me. Ha! But, I was only kidding about my wine intake. I added the additional gallon for effect. Ha! The eating scheme is pretty real ... except when my wife and daughter bring home "things" for me. My doc is also amazed at my numbers that haven't really changed in 45 years. Still borderline diabetic and he is amazed that my cholesterol is so low. I tell him that the trick is ... eat nuts! I just listen to my body and it seems to work.

Nuts are the original “super food”. My “trail mix” Costco: cooking almonds + cooking walnuts + lightly salted cashews + semi-sweet chocolate chips (next to the cooking nuts) Salt etc is only necessary for nuts that aren’t fresh... ziplock bags make salt unnecessary.

Aetna federal still requires prior auth but still only $300 for a 90 day supply. So out of pocket expense is 8%.

In my mind a question that begs to be asked, is why has MNKD not released a press release recognizing this significant epic event. Once this news is substantiated, I will be buying a couple of thousand shares for the grandkids.

I would think they would cover it on the earnings call Wednesday.

Occam's razor here tells us that it is real. Though someone posted the link to another site to look up formulary coverage that seems to have contradictory info. Simple logic tells us they cannot both be accurate. Belief in formularylookup may be more of confirmation bias than Occam.

Well then what’s stopping you from giving us the URL and telling us what the contradictions are.

While it's good to dissect everything on message boards, IMO, there's no big reason for us to get lost in the weeds discussing the recent revelations regarding REMS and insurance. Both are obviously good news but no one knows yet know how good. Bigger news seems to be on the horizon, i.e. partnerships and the STAT study. GLTA
