As the former Head of Marketing that helped build a successful nationally known medical company and now CEO, this type of corporate sponsorship display advertising makes my skin crawl. Anyone with real world successful marketing experience knows that this type of advertising NEVER pays out. It is only done by two types of companies: 1. Unknowing companies that are easily sold a bag of coal or 2. Well known and successful general brand advertisers with deep pockets and money to spare. This Kings game ad likely got the company some free tickets and feel good clout, but I guarantee there was no ROI. Being that I am a long-time shareholder it makes me quite frustrated to see this type of poor $/eyeball expense being paid when the company is still in it's infancy/not profitable. Mannkind should get focused on cost effective digital, social and maybe direct response television/radio (where you can buy quality unsold TV slots for 10 cents on the dollar. The only way they can afford to do TV and yet still a very viable way to build a national presence). Mannkind Execs, please feel to reach out if you need some guidance. I would be happy to help. michaelcastagna - not sure how often he checks in here He last checked in on November 5th: mnkd.proboards.com/user/2430

Seeing fat people on TV dancing around like some other pharmaceutical companies promote is not the way to go, Laura is the way to go..she shows it’s cool. It’s fast. And you don’t have to struggle with planning meals. Have her taking a hit and then running out for her next tennis match. And by the way, she says “take a hit” in her video for a reason:-) Yes. Laura could be to meal-time insulin what Flow is to insurance - only better. I've known of her for years, and she has a good, healthy, presence that would connect well with fellow diabetics.

Yes, that’s the kind of image I would like for Afrezza to have. Luckily no other diabetic company hasn’t done it yet. Let’s roll with the Flow:-) Perfect

Lojo is right we need to hammer home the fact that inhaling is better than injecting. Needles suck. Mannkind needs to redo commercial. Make it humorous and something that grabs peoples attention prioritizing no needle. Spend more and get all cohorts for children done parents don't want kids to have to inject when they can inhale, thats when money will really begin to pour in. Also we need to quit acting like were an established pharma and be more nimble and quick to change things up when necessary. I'm sick and tired oh the company allowing the shorts to steal our damn money. And don't lecture me I've been invested in this company for 8 years now and have seen it all. Just because I don't post doesn't mean I don't care. Numbers need to grow now...do something different Mike.

I just saw an Afrezza commercial on Fox News in LA at 9pm. It seemed to be a better commercial than I had seen before. It sounds like they have been doing a lot more advertising lately. Hopefully, we will start to see an increase in scripts.

Your first? I've seen several and I'm in your backyard so, you must be too busy shopping at Mizner or Towne Center?

LOL. No, I’m not a shopper. My TV is on CNBC, HGTV, or the History channel most of the time. Just haven’t seen the commercial on those channels. I saw the ad that we all familiar with. It was not new or different. It came on again about 30 minutes later. I still don’t like that commercial but I hope it helps sales.

Sorry ... but I can't report for Hawaii. I rarely turn on the tv, except for the 6 o'clock news. My wife turns on the tv, but she watches NHK almost exclusively. I can report that I haven't seen any sumo wrestlers inhaling Afrezza.

Saw the commercial on the Direct TV screen on my neighbors seat on Jet Blue last night flying from Long Beach to Portland. I said, " Oh! An Afrezza commercial!" She said, "What's that?" I got to explain inhaled insulin to her.
