Why are people here trying so hard to get tbe aged one to leave the message boards? He/she is not spreading FUD and is not saying negative things about Afrezza.

You've replied on previous threads that you'd be all for being "all in" for all of your diabetic needs for $5,000 per year. You sit here and spout negativity on Afrezza every chance you get and NOW you will complain that $4 per day is too much for you to be bothered with spending $2.67 extra per day for the best available insulin on the market that would undoubtedly improve your life. IMHO, you are not diabetic but are here 24/7 to merely spread your FUD. JMHO !!!! Let me help you with your comprehension: $6,000 a year? No. That's probably about four times what I pay now.
If I was uninsured I would be interested once it got down to around $5,000 provided the CGM was a Dexcom.
Why do you think I am not uninsured? I talk about my insurance and PBM all the time. I pay about $1,500 per year all in.

MNKD - Getting a lot of questions from people about news after the bell regarding a new set of marketing initiatives announced by the company. I will be blunt - I have no idea about the unit economics associated with the initiatives, but sounds very good to me. I have no idea about ARPU - “as low as $4” generally means very few at $4, and for 12 months, then the step up? And what cost basis? No idea. I used to work on such marketing initiatives way back when whilst a manager in the British Telecom mobile unit, and one thing I learned is that there are the numbers and there is disruption. This sounds a bit disruptive. And the stock market usually likes disruption...Will also get the weekly script watchers into a bit of a tiff, as now they will be sweating it all quarter into the quarterly calls. Could see some short covering...Overall - brilliant move (even if I still want the CEO to forego his 2018 bonus). #MNKD

Well, now there are only two weeks left and I can't find anything about the program. Not much time left to sign up 1,000 people. Is there a chance that the Direct Purchase Program will provide meaningful data to management on what effect pricing may have on adoption AND retention, which may lead to something more permanent?

Not that he spreads FUD, moreso that he tries SO hard to get his point across. Due to that, it might suggest that he is anti-Afrezza. Regardless. I dont care either way, as again, he is blocked.

“It is important for MannKind to help those whose lives depend on insulin, and, unfortunately, over 65,000 uninsured or under-insured patients today must pay cash for their insulin each month, typically at the pharmacy counter at prices that reflect the costs of the pharmaceutical distribution chain,” said Michael Castagna, Chief Executive Officer of MannKind. “Our new Afrezza Patient Direct Program enables us to streamline the numerous costs and inefficiencies that exist in today’s healthcare system, so we can pass along the savings directly for these patients. We want to be part of the solution for the future of healthcare and healthy living.” finance.yahoo.com/news/mannkind-announces-direct-purchase-insulin-213000718.html?.tsrc=applewf

about Eagle Pharmacy - www.eaglepharmacy.com/about-usPS. I have generally greatly been enjoying agedhippie’s input over the past few years. He’s very intelligent and knowledgeable about many areas includiing diabetes, the business, and investing He appears to me to have a high degree of integrity as a real person. I very often look forward to his responses to questions about many topics.

What? And skip my morning macchiato? No thanks! I can imagine...all the large pharma in the hearings on their high prices...and then Mannkind gets a mention by Congress...How is it..this 1% company has what appears to better outcomes..can sell insulin at $4 a day..I mean..lower hypos..no shot..free inhaler..no weight gain..why is your slower in and out insulins..so expensive? Ohhhhh!
