You the man Harry! Saying what Mannkind can't via social media! Maybe they're hoping for grass roots marketing to take hold. Better than what they have going at the moment....
If I wasn't already "enlisted" in Afrezza, I would say "sign me up" , ironically younger son just finished his last semester of Pharmacy school, graduates mid June, I suggested he look into going into the Air Force as an O3 as Pharmacist. He does crossfit everyday now so it's a natural fit. Go Conor!!!!!

Could we drop this thread? Spending so much time and effort for a dumb way to spend money that will never pay off. Typical MNKD useless attempt to play with the big boys. "That's my take on it" Sorry I used your handle. The Indianapolis 500 is a big deal. I understand if you are not a racing fan. What many people who are unfamiliar with Indy haven't seen is the behind the seens coverage of the drivers and teams it takes to compete there. The fact that Connor Daly is a PWD and gets behind the wheel for a gruling 500 mile race at straightaway speeds of over 230 MPH gets a lot of attention in the way of special interest spots around the race. There is a tremendous amount of media ceverage from today, which is the first day of practice through qualifying over the weekend and then of course the race. Connor is racing for Andretti Motorsports so he has an excellent ride and that alone will get a lot of on air time. The Indy 500 is watched by a huge audience from around the world. Last year's US viewership was 5.9 million US only. The average attendance at the track is in excess of 350,000. It is the largest attended single day event on the planet. So you may not be a race fan, but this is a good place to get attention. After all it is in Lilly's home town. I suggest you tune in and enjoy "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.I didn't realize that Lilly was Conor's sponsor until they made a major FUBAR and opened the door for the new kid on the block....Mannkind Diabetes. They actually pulled their sponsorship for something Conor's dad said 35yrs. ago (before Conor was even born). Well, as they say out with the old and in with the new!!! I believe Kendall knew what he was doing when he left Lilly www.ibj.com/articles/70252-conor-daly-loses-lilly-diabetes-sponsorship-over-fathers-35-year-old-slurI love that Mike swooped in and took advantage of Lilly's FUBAR....their loss is Mannkind's and PWD gain....I love it more that Conor will be a spokesperson for Afrezza going forward. Looking forward to the race...GO CONOR!!!

His previous best starting position at the Indy 500 was 23rd in 2015. So starting as 11th is a big improvement.

I wonder if Coner could leave a box (or two or three) of Afrezza on the Pit wall in sight of the cameras, so every time he pits, there's a box of Afrezza for all to ponder?

It's so frustrating how this company never seems to follow up the few events/campaigns/partnerships (other than UTHR) with anything. They certainly aren't projecting the image of a management team scrapping and clawing for survival/acceptance.

Can we say with absolutely certainty that they haven't tried reaching out? Maybe the impetus came from the driver or owner and not the makers of FIASP, Novo Nordisk? We are assuming a lot, sometimes.
