Definitely a material event.....
The same material they presented the last 5 years there, with the addition of: "UTHR, yada yada yada, but we control the outcome."
You know what they say. Crazy, repeating the same routine/mistakes and expecting different results.

I thought that Mike gave a very decent presentation at the Wainwright investors conference with some new graphics. He’ll probably give the same slide presentation at the CGH conference.
Until UTCH announces anything new with MannKind, it is was it is. Might as well make the best of it.

OCTOBER 3, 2019. Do we see a premarket announcement of the delivery of Afrezza to Brazil in the morning? Do they add a new slide to the slide deck covering the delivery?
I know that the prices haven't yet been posted in Brazil but, that doesn't necessarily mean that MNKD can't ship the product. In fact, they may want to have the product on hand before doing so. No sense going with an announcement of the price and not have the availability for new prescribers. From a pharma standpoint, I would think that MNKD, Brazil's Public Health Ministries, etc. would have all their ducks in a row.

Just going to be the same old dog and pony show.

He calls the shots, when he wants to and how he wants to. Whether he does here, in this case or not it doesn't make a difference. I'm just suggesting that there is always the possibility of pre-market news before a conference and that would make perfect sense.

I wonder of Shorts go to these conferences looking for investment ideas...
Do profitable companies go to as many? I think not... certainly not having the CEO presenting.

Actually, CEO's love going to these events. They get a free trip, free hotel, free meals, link up with other CEO's, maybe get hired by a larger company, family often come along for free, etc, etc. Only the lowly accountant from Hawaii get's sent to Georgia ... and wonder why did they send me here?
But, that's mytakeonit

Being that you think this is big news I'm surprised you missed it... it has already been presented at the last conference that it has shipped (first week in Sept). One would presume it has already arrived as it likely went by air. Hopefully a slide with the package tracking info isn't a highlight of this presentation. If they break down revenue as it appears they are required to, domestic and international, and recognize revenue on shipment for Brazil as they've said, then the first we get meaningful info (the value of the shipment) is likely the upcoming quarterly call.

And there’s a possibility of me winning the lottery or getting hit by lightning. The only news that positively moved the share price that Castagna ever produced was the UTHR deal.

The right early morning news release with the right information could transform our lives within minutes ending our national nightmare. It has happened with other companies in the past. Will it happen here, I don't know. As I have said before, it is hard to believe there is not one CEO and board that can see what we see in MNKD. If a deal does not happen, so be it, I will wait it out. When you are down, you can sell or like many of us simply wait and hope. I still believe an early morning surprise is always a possibility. In the meantime, we need more sales, plain and simple.

Once they get Medicare & Medicaid Approval it will open the flood gates for all insurance companies to cover Afrezza. Hopefully their new Gov't Affairs Dept. is working on it. The street is waiting patiently for approval which will bring in more revenues faster. Also after approval it will be interesting to see if Mike expands the salesforce or wait it out for PEDS Approval before getting a marketing partner.
