The next dilution comes when pps is $100+ and we do a 5 for 1 split. AND, another 5 for 1 split will come in 2 months when the pps is back up to $100+. But, that's mytakeonit's multimillionaireprediction Sorry, that's delusion, not dilution.

letitride ... my avatar pic shows me. You have 4 obvious choices ... the doc, the dog, the spot on the wall, or the dog's butt. Choose wisely weed hopper.
But, that's mytakeonit

Matt
I respectfully disagree that now is the time to “fish or cut bait”. Now is the closest this little company has ever been to CFBE since the Sanofi disaster. The progress is real but measured and you know as well or better than anybody (apparently) why that is. It’s on the back of Afrezza, UTHR, and hard decisions with regard to RS and dilution (one offering was extremely well timed and another was poorly timed - c’es la vie). I do not believe MNKD is in danger of bankruptcy. I do believe they will need a deal or dilution (but hopefully not both). Now is the time to remain patient and see if a deal, dilution, and increasing revenue from sales of Afrezza will see Mannkind through to the point of CFBE (or better financing to get to CFBE).

Each time they dilute the price will be higher. It will be at a lower PPS. And the the warrants more toxic. I think It’s a huge risk. Find a way to get money some other way. Sell something, get a loan from a white knight. An upfront payment from a partnership. We cannot do dilution again with the stock this low! How many times do we have to tell you guys the stock will go below a dollar, reverse split comes next and down the drain we go....and there is no recovery from that a second time!! Sorry for yelling.

If the stock was up at three dollars, it would be different. I would feel completely differently. Let me repeat this!
NO
NO
NO!!!
Fish or cut bait.

I prefer fish rather than cut bait.
And without dilution. As you say sports, that requires money (a deal). Seems like that’s in MC’s job description. He’s been at it for a while now, time for results.

I remember him as an ardently bullish, who was polite to me although he didn't often agree with my take on things. It shocked me to return here after an extended absence and find him to be pretty critical, albeit on another web site. I hope the run-up over the last few months has treated people well. My last A1c was 5.8, and I've halved my basal and prandial insulin through changed diet (more, but not completely, vegetarian) and additional activity. Still waiting for Afrezza to be marketed in Canada. Derek EDIT: Talking abt John Kastanes - forgot to quote from the original post. Out of practice at this Proboards thing! Good to see you here again. Don't be a stranger. Got any position in MNKD currently?

I sure hope a deal is in the works. And of course we longs wouldn't know about it until after it's announced and moves the pps upward.

Anybody know what Blue Hale technology is worth? Could we package it up and sell it for enough to get a couple molecules to P1? Retaining rights to use it for our internal needs, of course.
I heard Tim Cook briefly mention medical ultrasound technology during Apple's call last week. As usual, nothing all that revealing from the master of secrecy but it got me thinking about Blue Hale. Dose metering has to have some value to others in my mind.

Taking the last nine months there was a gross profit of $2.1M. Offset against that is the sales cost of $37.5M. You could look at the last quarter, but those numbers are even worse as the was no gross profit in the first place. So deal or dilution are viable options, but in the short to medium term Afrezza is not looking like a contributor.

As Mike C said previously, he's not worried about $$$. I guess the game plan is in and it is looking great !!!
BTW, cut bait is called sashimi in Hawaii and is very expensive.
But, that's mytakeonit

On the other hand, the net loss for the 9 months ended Sep 30, 2018 was only 37.6M or if annualized at 4/3 then about 50M. This is half of what it was the previous couple years.
And 3rd Q net loss of 2019 was 10.4. Annualized this is about 42M.
In the last year or two the net loss has been cut by 50 or 60 million with sales growing at more than 40%.
Could it be better. Well yes. But making good progress. And 40% plus sales growth on an ever increasing number will yield much quicker progress in 2020 and subsequent years.
