Maybe Mike just wants to go to NY for a few days... See, I can be optimistic! Sorry, I do not know how to post this exchange, that I had w/Nate on Twitter here - so, I will type it. To start, I was on ST’s addressing John Kastane’s comment, that stated MC’s visit to NY (for the conf) is to raise money thru dilution & toxic warrants. I asked, how he knew that & the answer given, implied it was based on the people that would be there or something like that. While that was going on, a tweet popped up from Nate, who was talking to someone on Twitter about dilution - so, I responded to Nate, telling him about Kastane’s ST post & going on to say - “We haven’t even gotten through tomorrow’s conference call yet. Someone seems to always be looking for negatives. Gets tiring.” Nate responded with... “As you know, there are many folks who seem to make their living by tossing red herrings into the MNKD stream of social media (and, as you’ve probably noticed, they’ve developed a dismal track record of predictions to show for it as the years have rolled by :-)) I like that response. Tomorrow’s another day. Looking forward to the 9a EST CC. I'm on the West Coast and generally rise early - but would like to awake to something positive and unexpected for a change.

Sorry, but I don’t think Nate has any grounds to call other people out on their “dismal track record” regarding MNKD.

I am disappointed they just didn't ask mytakeonit if he wanted to fund this round of financing. I am sure he'd be more than happy to pick up more cheapies.

Wow ... what a bunch of Debbie Downers. Guess it's so difficult to wait for the CC ... that I won't be waking up early to hear. (Since I already have the earnings report).
In any case, didn't you all buy SENS and NVAX like I advised? It was a wonderful day in the neighborhood !
And yes, I am considering buying more MNKD shares.
But, that's mytakeonit

I don’t think anyone has been more wrong than Nate about MNKD Nate never talked about Afrezza sales. I'd trust him more if he talked more about the problem with the company than repeating his optimistic call.

I feel your pain. I’m stuck with my shares. Just hoping we have news today of cash coming this month from somewhere other than shareholders. 48,000 shares traded after hours last night averaging around $1.52. We also closed up from the lows of the day around 3pm, trading up the last hour. MNKD held up well considering the DOW and NASDAQ were down more than 1/3 more.

Well, for what it's worth, CEO Castagna did state that they have received another Brazil order. Of course, it won't hit the books as revenue until they've shipped. The first shipments was ~$700k as I recall. Will the next order be the same or bigger? We probably won't be told until the 1Q20 earnings call and it might not matter a lot, since Castagna did say the company is in decent shape with cash flow.

How many months of cash do we have left?

I don’t think though that we have enough of authorized shares to sell to dilute much at this time? I think you’re right. My guess is Mike does his best pump job tomorrow and we dilute as much as possible with the available shares we have on the 27th. He would be going there looking for a deal which would take some time... if he asks for shares authorized at the ASM.. It will probably come from them ..somebody said we have two or three months of cash left I’m not sure if that’s accurate?

It's not accurate. The conference call just confirmed that no dilution is expected in the foreseeable future. If this changes, that's a new conversation

I think someone mentioned that there's about $50mil or so left and burn rate was around $5.4/Mon...So about nine months or so? Don't think revenues were taken into account so probably a few more months than that.
