Type ones and pediatrics are going to be the plan going forward , mike said something to the effect that type one are covered automatically by default is that correct ? Type two compliance is even more difficult to develop than I could ever imagined.. type two’s the biggest market is Going to take some creative marketing and we do not have the funds for that at the moment... partner needed. All I can say is good thing : as they say “we are not a one trick pony “ I think the big difference in coverage would be that T1s can't use all the non-insulin anti-diabetic drugs. So there may still be a hurdle justifying Afrezza vs the preferred RAA, but there isn't all the other steps that ordinarily have to be progressed through as with T2s.

All I can say is good thing : as they say “we are not a one trick pony “ I think it depends what he means by covered. Insulin is always covered, but usually only one brand. There was a big fuss when Express Scripts dropped Novolog and then the other PBMs went similar routes. That would be about five years ago - I remember because I was on Novolog and got bounced to Humalog - not happy at all. The PBMs decided that any insulin giving comparable HbA1c results was equivalent and could be interchanged. That let them go with the cheapest option. As to Afrezza cover - that varies. My current plan covers Afrezza at $80 per quarter, but that is because my current employer has their own formulary and is very open and almost no PAs. My previous plan was standard Cigna which flatly did not cover Afrezza.

I own a decent size position in mrna moderna, try to pay as close attention as I can ... (even more lately ) vaccine .. refrigeration , refrigeration, refrigeration, constantly Mentioned... seems like a cumbersome aspect of development and commercialization.. no doubt: is Technosphere to good to be true to remedy this on grand scale . Seems like it would be something for us to be looking forward to.
