That's a really lame jab. Did we run out of 410 today or just full of hate? No Mango, I agree with Brotherm. Mike does mumble a lot. I have a hard time understanding what he says sometimes. He is not the greatest public speaker, especially for a CEO. Mike is a terrible speaker, not in content, but in passion and delivery. If you are hearing impaired, (like me), forget about it. Mike speaks too quickly, with zero dynamics, and doesn’t enunciate well. There needs to be an actual separation between words, and enunciation is crucial, you can’t overdue it. if you aren’t good at enunciating and don’t put an emphasis on individual words you can totally misrepresent yourself. for example, if you are trying to prove that something can’T be done, but you don’t emphasize that T it really changes things. Right. My wife and I will soon have to resort to sign language 😉, she doesn’t talk, she gobbles!! I can’t understand anything she says, she’s literally the worst speaker I’ve ever dealt with. Mike is a close 2nd.

Joeypotsnpans: like your posts, but the argument that big pharma is blunting Afrezza is just not true. After 4 years we are not a pimple on their ass and haven’t produced enough volume for them to ever mentioned Mannkind. If they ever got scared of our science and product they would just buy us. The big pharma blunting effect is another farce. Trust me...Afrezza is not in their mouth when they are talking to prescribers. . Now you really just exposed yourself pal. 🙂. You said recently you are no longer working for MNKD. And you said in this thread you lost and sold your entire investment in MNKD. So where does this “WE” you mentioned above fit in. 🙂. Will the real pguererro please stand up. 🙂 And now that you’ve vented about your adventure working at MNKD and losing your investment, let’s have some full disclosure. Who are you now working with? THAT took six pages to finally get asked. I have to go back and see if there is an answer.

I guess the passion and delivery part is subjective since I disagree with you on that too.

I’ll save you the time, this former Afrezza sales representative couldn’t sell enough Afrezza to survive, or possibly not enough to keep his/her job. It would definitely get frustrating to constantly get hammered at sales meetings or employee evaluations because you couldn’t sell the companies only product. and there you have it. just my opinion, but it’s probably accurate.

I have been invited to publicly speak at several events, career days, even grade schools, I’m just basing my opinion on what I hear coming out of Mikes mouth, the speed, separation, enunciation, dynamics, and delivery. I am schooled in Public Speaking and have decades of experience being front and center in front of big crowds, and I just don’t think Mike is a good Speaker. I’m not anti Mike, but do wish he would slow down a little, and speak more clearly. I also understand that he has a lot to cover within a certain amount of time, he needs to prioritize the different topics and prepare his presentation a little better. You should be able to cover everything you intended to cover and have enough time to answer any questions without using the old “we’re out of time“ clause. trust me mango, talking is my strong point. ✌🏻😎

Seems his math is wrong, at least with regard to current situation. Per yesterday's cc... Only 25% of NRx are new patients. Dropout rate for T2 is 50%, and less for T1. He said drop out rate is that within the first couple of months (only). He did not say what the drop out rate is after the first couple of months. True, though I would think if someone isn't going to like it (such as need for follow on doses), isn't responding well (such as if received inadequate titration instructions) or denied authorization that would probably result in dropping Afrezza within a couple of months. There would still be the issue of how many patients have to drop at start of a year because of switching insurance to something that doesn't cover it, though MNKD has stated that their success rate with getting it approved is good. Given that T1 is apparently much below 50% 2 month drop out, I'd guess the overall rate is more like 50% than it is 90%. Clearly the math that concluded 90% is mistaken due to significantly flawed assumption that all NRx are new patients. It would be nice if management was entirely candid about these metrics so that we could track them and see that progress is being made (if it is). Though at least we got this tidbit of info. As I recall retention rate had never been discussed before. I don't doubt that VDex has better retention than Afrezza's overall numbers. There may be some other early adopter docs that use Afrezza heavily that match VDex retention, but there are undoubtedly some docs that are new to Afrezza or only use it rarely that don't do as good of job selling patients on benefits of Afrezza or with usage instruction. But hard to compare (if that was the point) when neither side is really showing their data.

Hmm can't find it. In my own defense I am deaf in one ear so, yeah obviously misheard him ☹️ You did not mishear. The person that did the transcript misheard. In the transcript where it says "Looking to higher dedicated marketer to lead that up as well as pre academic knowledge" it was really "Looking to hire dedicated marketer to lead that up as well as pediatric endocrinologist"

I think the biggest set of stacks I ever witnessed was at the 1984 Van Halen Tour. Wish we had phones with cameras...shit, wish we had cellular phones...LOL

From Steve.... Copy that nylefty Use 90 instead of 350... The fact is that the rate is toxic... and investors shouldn't have to grind numbers to prove what MNKD knows. Regarding Pguerrero The other drugs are junk because they don't protect the pancreas. Make the case and patients will listen. Problem for PG/MNKD is that they can't say this stuff and we can and do every day. Sub Q protects but doesn't engage the liver. Afrezza does both protect and engage. NOTHING LIKE IT ON THE PLANET...oops! ....well ... Endogenous Insulin. T2s not being able to inhale 12/24/36 units of Afrezza? BS it's happening every day. The dreaded cough... it's just not a big deal for us. Does it occur ? All the time. It's how you prepare the patient. Minimizing the dosing is key especially regarding compliance. For now, the price is an issue but we still get those with amazing results covered and most get amazing results. It's one thing to hear a rep(poss) saying that they can't sell Afrezza. It is a whole different problem to hear them lose faith in Afrezza. This person clearly blames the drug. Most important take away from this is that Afrezza is Everything Al said it was/is. Things are moving for VDEX and investors will be more than pleased. SDB Sports: in that last sentence, does SDB refer to MNKD investors or VDEX (or both)?

Yes Steve’s initials thank you:-) I removed my post - the question was about "investors" in the sentence prior to the initials - is the reference to MNKD or VDex investors I believe is what was being asked.
