Well you guys don’t know what Vdex is doing because you blew it ..there were too many complaints when I posted stuff on the this board so now it gets posted on Stock Twits and Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. It does take a couple months of samples to get their A1 C down and get their insurance on board if they got a rejection. We are one of Mannkind’s largest providers. We just want as many samples as the other growing providers are receiving. Just to be treated fairly. There’s no doubt Mike was mad at Bill because he blocked us on Twitter. But I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt since at this point we have proved ourselves:-) I think we can be beneficial to each other and nobody would have to admit they were wrong about anything. If you guys are doing more than MC's in house sales staff, why not provide details? An under-utlized sales staff is unacceptable. No of course not but we are one of the providers that has the most patients.

So vdex is mad Bc mannkind is not giving samples to them but they are giving samples to other providers? If true then why? It has to be that the Vdex model isn’t retaining the patient from the free sample? Or vdex is taking a cut Of the money that would normally go to mannkind?? Something doesn’t add up. Im sorry I don’t understand your question, a cut of what money? We have over 80% retention so we are one of the handful of providers that would best utilize the samples. In some states there are no reps so it’s been difficult but I think things will work themselves out. We appreciate the reps! Our money comes from insurance, we bill for the office visits and we also handle patients preauthorization letters if their insurance denies Afrezza.. just like Mannkind Cares does. Although sometimes in some cases that takes a couple months because we need to get their blood sugars down and send the results to the insurance companies, that’s why we have as good of retention as we do. By that time the doctor ( our providers ) the patient and the insurance company are impressed:-)

Also if in a rare case the patient’s insurance just flat out denies Afrezza after we get them in range we prescribe something else, our goal is blood sugar control. You can’t get non-diabetic numbers without Afrezza but we can keep them in a range where they can live a normal life span. Lifestyle changes and choices are what we promote with Afrezza being the best tool in the box but not the only one.

We don’t sell Afrezza, a doctor working at Vdex prescribing Afrezza is just like a doctor anywhere else. We do prescribe probably more eight and 12 units than other providers do. So that would help the bottom line. We don’t under dose, so we would actually be prescribing more Afrezza than some other physician’s. MC and Bill got mad at each other, it’s not my place to give the details, but like I said before if you wanna know how the feud started read Steve’s posts about Dubai. I cannot see how VDex impacts the money per script that Mannkind gets. A prescription is a prescription, and it's filled by a pharmacy. There is no kick back for doctor for prescribing (that would be illegal).
