I know AH trading sometimes doesn't mean much the next day but, fwiw, UTHR was down by 28.70 (-21.74%) after it released its earnings. Did UTHR give next quarter guidance that was disappointing or something? 4 shares, my man..means nothing. Okay, thanks, I just saw the SP and not the number of shares traded.

The UTHR story is a fascinating one. Martine, who was a brainchild behind Sirius XM, and Geostar satellite communication, is not your average Biopharma executive by a long shot. She's on a mission. If you read the transcript of the last call, you realize that she never asks a question without knowing the answer ahead of time, and is skillful in shepherding her executive team.
If you read her bio, you come away with four conclusions (1) She's wicked smart in a range of fields, including regulatory law, astronomy, and ecology (for starters), (2) She is not afraid to think outside the box, so she's not a follower but an innovator (3) She is well versed in bioethics and motivated by altruism, Her founding of UTHR was driven by her recognition that PAH is a medical area with opportunity (fueled by her daughter's PAH Dx), and (4) She's highly competitive and driven by a range of interests and causes for which she does her "homework", so it's a good idea not to bet against her.
Frankly, I'd love it if she determined it would be useful for UTHR to have a stake in MNKD.
So here's an interesting question about the beginning of the Technosphere partnership with UTHR. Did Martine call Michael first, or vice-versa? My guess is the former.
JMHO,
Chris C

Others have mentioned the incredible similarities between her and Al Mann.

One way or the other Mike C closed the deal and it probably saved the company.
