It's solid. The PR indicates that Rothblatt's projection of timeline for Tyvaso DPI is on schedule. This submission is another step done. The PR confirms that the $105M PRV has now been applied irrevocably to this NDA for Tyvaso DPI. Confirmation.I think this gives investors, and especially institutions, more confidence in the stock. It could take a few days for the tutes to start loading up. Agree... and this is not priced in IMO I don't think the Tutes will pile in just yet. FDA has 60 days to approve the submission. Then the PRV will start so we are talking about a Dec. 2021 approval. Tutes will wait until the submission approval and then start accumulating slowly.

I did some caculations and Mannkind's revenue will increase to approx. 200 million come the end of 2023 with the inclusion of Tyvaso Dpi (60 million in 2022 and 120 million in 2023 based on United's forecast of patients moving to tyvaso DPI and then the continued expansion into other markets) and a continued gradual increase in Afrezza sales. That would put us at PSR (P/S Ratio) of 5 with our current market cap of roughly 1 billion. The typical large bio company has a PSR of between 5 and 7. Mannkind would therefore be on the low side. PSR of 7 would put us at a stock price of about 6. We need additional revenue streams for possible share price increase.
For instance, United therapeutics had revenues of 1.5 billion in 2020 and has a market cap of 9 billion. Roughly a PSR of 6. They probably will increase revenues from Tyvaso DPI alone by 500 million between now and 2023, bringing their market cap up to 12 billion with all other sales remaining the same.

The usual price to sales ratio does not apply to royalties.

Great, then what ratio should I use? I agree the profit margins should be higher for royalty revenue.
Is there a public company that is royalty driven that could be used as an example?

Very little is priced into MNKD because of the disasterous marketing of afrezza and IMO every diabetes BP trying to put MNKD out of business. Hopefully soon things will turn. The pipeline is very strong and IMO the future looks even brighter.

Didn’t we always used to say we should be trading at 15 times?

UTHR is on fire and mnkd is doing what it does best, 1 step forward and 3 steps back. Is it the leadership?

UTHR is on fire and mnkd is doing what it does best, 1 step forward and 3 steps back. Is it the leadership? It seems evident that UTHR will buy MNKD cheap. Also, it is my opinion the recent flood of job openings where consulted by UTHR - MNKD wouldn't even know how to structure all those positions.

My question is this going to be a sell the news event (i.e. already priced in) or is this going to be the start of something wonderful? OOG I think we got our answer...but that said, does anyone else ever feel as though they are in a fugue state and both the company and their investment experience is just imaginary and wholly disconnected from the actual stock market??🤪

How cheap are we talking? Want to give us a guess on the pps of the buyout? Just a guess... 10-12 bucks due to the fact it will happen sooner than later.

How cheap are we talking? Want to give us a guess on the pps of the buyout? No, because there won't be any buyout (or at least I hope there won't be and would vote against one).

So another guy saying that MNKD will be at $10+ by the end of April. But, I wonder why he didn't say that MNKD will be at $100 in 3 years and $200 in 5 years But, that's mytakeonit

UTHR gave mnkd a lifeline to get us out of potential bankruptcy. They will probably buy mnkd for pennies to a dollar. Clown in charge will probably take the deal because he's way over his head trying to run mnkd. Pay raise for his rest and grow. WTF?
