Currently, the other Ed Carpenter driver/teammate, Veekay, is leading with ~30 laps left (out of 85 laps total).

To those of you who complain Mannkind is advertising on an Indy Car with a Type 1 driver...
Mannkind is not the first company to use racing cars and drivers for advertising.
Mannkind does not pay by the lap.
Mannkind may have gotten better camera coverage from Conor being out of the race (temporarily?) than might have happened except for if he won (which is how likely?).
Keep calm, and carry on. (I know you can do the latter.)

Maybe: "Thanks for the loot, Mike. Same time, next year?"

Maybe: "Thanks for the loot, Mike. Same time, next year?" He got “Sanofi’d” in the first turn of the first lap……lol

How many companies that are consistently losing money advertise on racing cars?

OMG, I can't believe this company. They remind me of Charlie Brown. Here Mike, step way back and I'll hold the football! Of all the Pharma companies out there, Mannkind is the Charlie Browniest.

But hey, maybe some of our execs and board members got sweet seats for the race? Money well spent, y’all should stop your complaining!

In any case, Attwood's post is in contrast to the bashers' contention that nobody would talk about the Indy car advertising. Common sense tells me that Attwood wasn't the only one who learned about Afrezza because of this effort.

Well, that’s racing. $$$ down the drain. Not down the drain. The car got lots of views, including those after the accident.

But yes, surely some people saw the car and learned about Afrezza. The question is how many, and was it worth the money. That answer seems obvious.

If it was, everybody would agree with you and your fellow bashers. 'Obviously' not everyone does.
