In any case, Attwood's post is in contrast to the bashers' contention that nobody would talk about the Indy car advertising. Common sense tells me that Attwood wasn't the only one who learned about Afrezza because of this effort. Uh, Atwood is editor of Autocar. It’s kind of his job to talk about things like that. But yes, surely some people saw the car and learned about Afrezza. The question is how many, and was it worth the money. That answer seems obvious. Do you ever post anything positive?

The crazy thing is that we may have gotten more screen time on "Tired of Pricks?" because of the troubles! Some day "Tired of Pricks?" may be bigger than "Where's the Beef?" Can I get a Hell Yes? Why not, it is our time! I agree with Sports, tuff day for Conor. Seems like a great guy. He will be back!

'Obviously' not everyone does. Thats why I said it “seems” obvious. It does to many of us here, but of course you can have your opinion that it was company money well spent.

Well my post above stated “surely some people saw the car and learned about Afrezza.” That’s putting a positive spin on this debacle! Do I get a spot on the cheerleading team now? 😂

"Hi. I'm Conor. Just like Afrezza leaves the body faster than any other insulin, I leave the race faster than any other driver. I'm tired of pricks, particularly the guy who hit me."

I taped the race and just watched the start. Conor got more TV time than he would have if he stayed in the race. And since the car wasn't moving it was easy to read the website. The announcer even called his car the mannkind Chevrolet.

Sadly, judging from the current status of the Symphony Script thread, we'll never know.

It does to many of us here, but of course you can have your opinion that it was company money well spent. I don't know if it was money well spent or not, but I think it was worth the gamble. Somebody on ST said that Daly had a faster car than his teammate who won the race and if so we might be celebrating a victory if Conor hadn't been taken out of the race through no fault of his own. In any case a lot of people saw the car on national television and I'm sure that a good number of them were curious enough about the slogan to investigate what it was referring to.

Honestly I had gotten over the money part and I just really thought we might win. I heard the same thing on Stocktwits about the car. But I guess if we couldn’t win then getting coverage for being in the middle of the grass might just be the next best thing. I just couldn’t believe it, I had my head in my hands my roommate said, what in the world is the matter and I’m just like this is so Mannkind🤣
