Nobody said Martine thinks they are “fools” - again your habit of moving the goalposts to fit your narrative. TS is what Martine wants to utilize. So yes, it is possible that she chose to utilize TS despite current management of MNKD. She’s not choosing MNKD for its marketing or sales expertise, that’s for sure. Sorry it hurts your feelings, and it’s not the degree of enthusiasm you want to see. We know any questioning of management does not meet with your approval. TS is legit, Afrezza proved it despite management’s failure to commercialize it. Hopefully UTHR can use the TS platform to generate huge profits. That will move the needle and thus “market perception” will follow. What is so great about Technosphere® Technology ? As Mike says "It flies really well". Technosphere gets into the deep lung for very fast absorption into the blood. It also has the ability to stabilize unstable molecules like insulin. I think I heard Mike talk a little about it yesterday investors.mannkindcorp.com/events/event-details/svb-leerink-2022-global-healthcare-conference On the Martine discussion, she was a long time friend of Al as Al fixed her up and made what was an insulin pump work for her daughter. Martine knew about Technosphere from the beginning when Al was working with Sol Steiner. Did she throw MNKD a life line with Tyvaso, probably but she also knew how it will change and expand her market.

LOL well in peppy’s defense, she’s only asking for “a friend.” 😉 Maybe her friend has a thing for cretins. No judgment here, it takes all kinds! And Crete is a really nice place anyway.

“but if you’re going to give Martine credit, you also have to admit that she chose to do business with Mannkind and the current management, not despite it.” No, we don’t need to admit that at all. Quite possible that Martine chose to do business with MNKD because of the superior technology (again, that was Al’s brainchild and he actually was a genius) and despite MNKD’s current management. It’s always about the poor performance with current management with you…and yet here you are…I admire your commitment.

I’m stubborn in my belief in Afrezza’s superiority, and have observed management’s failure to commercialize it. Some folks consistently excuse that performance and praise management’s brilliance at keeping MNKD out of bankruptcy, so everyone is entitled to their perspective. We’re seven years after Afrezza approval, with zero drugs that produce us a profit. Hopefully we are on the verge of having one with Tyvaso. Every one of us investors from “the old days” expected to have several by now, including at least a blockbuster Afrezza (anyone who says otherwise is lying, otherwise they wouldn’t have invested in this company back then.) Performance matters, and if we perform up to expectations I’ll be delighted to change my tune. I’m staying invested because of belief that Martine (a proven entity, unlike our team) can at least help us get out of this basement in terms of share price.

Everything you said is fine except that it completely ignores the context of the intervening 7 years and the performance prior to the current management. The fact that you can sit here and complain is because of their performance, not inspite of it. Or wait, come to think of it, your complaining is in fact in spite of their accomplishments. I’ll give you more credence if you can share with us the BPs you managed to success from the brink of bankruptcy. Have you ever tried to run a business? Any business? It’s very difficult. Just saying.

Not the most compelling argument, but as said before, everyone is entitled to their perspective.

Just saying. I agree with both of you regarding many of your arguments but I’m more down they middle. I have been very disappointed in some of the management decisions of the past but very relieved that we avoided bankruptcy. The progress with Afrezza has been painfully slow but money has been extremely tight. Management has made great strides in righting the ship and even though it it’s been a very long haul, I still believe MNKD will prove be a great investment in the coming years. I’m a glass 1/2 full type of person and don’t dwell on the past because that’s not productive and depressing. I look forward to new molecules or partnerships this year.

Management is ultimately responsible for managing the PPS. Guidance is needed. We don’t trade on the OTC And this is not a Mike thing, this goes way back.
Most people are not happy when the share price goes down, it’s when the share price goes up and people keep complaining …. Although eventually you get to a point where even a bullish person might say I think we’re fairly valued here.

But Nate said its a strong buy under $5 and a buy undeR $10. I am long till the end of my life, but I gotta give a big shout out to StockTwits. Many knowledgeable people who have coincidentally helped make some money, all while holding mnkd. Up 1.5x initial investment, but as Tom said, "the waiting is the hardest part." youtu.be/uMyCa35_mOg
