“High volume, sell the news sellers being met by buyers, on heavy volume.” I was just thinking this very thing. Profit takers have come in heavy at the start of the last three sessions and the stock has held up nicely. Something I must admit, given the run up in price, I thought buyers would have a hard time holding up the price. I expected a retracement, with a close at 4.15 - 4.20 in the first couple of days following the announcement. Clearly the market believes the story. I believe there will be some serious profit taking when we hit our next resistance level. It is just human nature and it is healthy. Come on upgrades! Come on institutional investors! Ditto on thinking the same thing. Really nice consolidation pattern for a stock that is up 70+% over the last twelve trading sessions. This has also been a surreal accumulation opportunity post-Tyvaso DPI approval. So much more certainty now, and yet the stock price hasn't had a crazy spike. A prolonged, steady climb in the weeks and months ahead will be a thing of beauty as more data points come in to justify every higher moves. |

Appreciate you're comments and agree 100%. If I could add anything it would be that, IMHO, even with this selling pressure we're building a higher 'base' with these new shareholders that should indicate prices moving higher still.

Just an aside. I've made 8 purchases of MNKD shares over the years. As of right now 5 of those lots are in the GREEN !! That leave 3 lots left and 2 of those will go GREEN when the stock stays above $ 4.80. The real drag on the whole mess is the shares that I bought before the Reverse Split. But I'm willing to wait ;-)

Just an aside. I've made 8 purchases of MNKD shares over the years. As of right now 5 of those lots are in the GREEN !! That leave 3 lots left and 2 of those will go GREEN when the stock stays above $ 4.80. The real drag on the whole mess is the shares that I bought before the Reverse Split. But I'm willing to wait ;-) I've got 15 purchases with the first being April of 2013 and the last being August of 2019. 5 of my purchases are green and 10 are red but thankfully my 5 were way larger than the 10 red so i'm in the GREEN and hopefully the 10 red will move to the green as we rise  |

I am think the disconnect between UTHR and MNKD PPS right now may simply be that no one knows what the 'royalties' percentage will be. Once that clears up I believe MNKD may see upward pressure.

Mizzou - One day MNKD will catch up and will pass UTHR once Mike figures out how to sell afrezza into the T2 market. On June 27 2014 I was very happy but a little concerned. The future of MNKD and how afrezza would work out were up in the air. We had no partner to sell afrezza and there was a lot of open issues with safety and how well it was going to work. Today the future for MNKD is very clear.
Now - with Tyvaso DPI approval Mike no longer needs to worry about how the electric bill and payroll are getting paid. Tyvaso DPI is a huge win but its not making MNKD a $20 stock. Additional molecules will but afrezza in the T2 market will take it to $100+. The fact is all Mike needs to do is the GLP1 trial and kick butt which when properly dosed is a no-brainer. Mike then needs to get DXCM's sales reps to sell into the T2 market. That deal would be a big win for DXCM getting more CGM sales and would be a great partnership for an afrezza T2 sales force. It would also pop the pps even before sales are realized.

When is the last time you talked to him? I think I remember you saying something about talking with him again sometime soon (or, maybe just at some point). I think Mike is spending more time in Danbury now. You should bump that idea up on your todo list. Plant that seed in his head that you had about pursuing a different SOC strategy. Along with all your other ideas.

The Seeking Alpha hit pieces seem to always come after good news. I don’t see how a muck rag like that can have this kind of price influence without real coordination and support somewhere on the street.
