The pullback is faster and harder than I was expecting. It seems that Freddie Mac's announcement of mortgage rates jumping to 6.7% is what did the job.
The increase in mortgage rates was to be expected, but it must have more of an effect when they see it in print.

BINGO. I replied yesterday but deleted my post. What I said was, we’re not at the bottom, and yesterday was a bear market rally. Interest rates, taxes, and inflation are going up and will continue to do so, and the job market will soften as a result. These things don’t swing to a good direction in a day, week, or quarter.

Peppy, I tend to agree with your observations. I think the Dow could still retreat to around 28,500 or so and fill the November 2020 gap on the daily🤷♂️ What’s your take?
