Won’t matter for the most part. The key is to watch institutional ownership increase… In a bearish market institutions act “let’s see the quarterly report”, for judgement reasons. Regardless Mannkind doesn’t have anything to worry about. They’ve held up really well in a market that is destroying other biotech companies that are considered “speculative” that aren’t profitable… So in stock market sense, right now, speculative to profitable is a pretty big deal. Let’s hope this transition happens soon…

Recognia has detected that Mannkind Corp (MNKD on NASDAQ) has entered Wave 3 of its Elliott Wave cycle. This bullish signal indicates that the price may rise from the previous close of 3.47 to the next Elliott Wave target price of 3.98.
Wave 3 of the Elliott Wave cycle is the third and typically the most powerful move in the five wave trend. This move is in the direction of the overall market trend (either bullish or bearish). That's very possible though it showed the same pre-market at 9:00am. If so, that's two days in a row Nasdaq has erred in reporting on its website. Maybe there's a newbie learning the system.

I am ok with a move up on average volume the day before earnings. A high volume day the day before earnings tells me either someone knows something or there are a lot of shares being gambled on a short term bump and a quick scalp, which tends to create a reversion when they try to take the quick profit.
I am ok with a ton of volume and a nice 10% move tomorrow when MNKD announces over $30mm in revenue. Come on Mike, do the right thing, recognize 100% of the revenue on delivered T-DPI.
CAn't wait for the tea leaves to reveal themselves tomorrow morning.

Oh Castle. All this talk about 10% move up on earnings over 30MM gets me very, very concerned with MNKD. If history is any guide, we will be disappointed tomorrow as MNKD tends to spend all it gets and the losses keep mounting. There is no balance between R&D and reducing the quarterly losses to a repeatable trend towards a profit.
