Curious if someone knows what percentage of LQDA is owned by institutional investors? 50.5% with a further 8.89% held by insiders. (For comparison MNKD is 47% and 2.85% respectively) |

Today is an excellent example of the day traders piling in early and then dumping their shares at the end of the day---the stock topped out on the upside at $4.87, and then bailing out started and drove the price do to $4.67 --a swing of $0.20. All this on more than $4 million shares. This is why day trading should have some severe penalties for those making these unfounded profits. They have penalties for some short-term trading vs. a long holding. Such trading eventually hurt small caps stocks caught in such trading. And that is a shame!

Three observations on the overall state of MNKDs share price:
1. The entire market dropped in the last 30 minutes on the ever present fear mongering the media decides is necessary to portray regarding the future actions of JP. Made no sense to me to be in a sideways channel for the day then all the algo's hit their sell buttons at 3:30pm for the dump.
2. While the week has been an over all disappointment, we had a few days when MNKD was up and the indices were down. I guess what I'm saying is it could've been worse which takes me to my final point.
3. MNKD has outperformed the NASDAQ YTD by roughly +26%. MNKD (+4%) NASDAQ (-30%) and the DJI is (-4.9%) YTD.

New 52 week high and the last 2 days have high daily short interest after weeks of low numbers.

Going with the title of the thread 😁my event was that my affluent landlord has decided to let me take over his stock account. My first buy yesterday was MNKD.
This actually came from me telling him he should’ve cut back on his Tesla shares months ago and him not listening to me…🤷♀️ and then me myself liquidating most of my holdings eight months ago. Wrong, right, got lucky, who knows, all I know is I can admit when I’m wrong pretty easily and pivot and he could see that.
I was in the airlines and the cruise lines before, those are the ones I got out of …but when the time is right I’ll be going with Delta next time. They have pods in their planes that make it seem like you’re in a private jet.
Anyway let’s see what the Fed says today… I think we’re gonna have a recession, that’s just my feeling but I’ll be buying Mannkind on the dips.

Concerning capital gains as being a penalty, I wish I had more of them since you only pay taxes on profits.

I am be wrong here, but I don’t think clofazimine alone will be enough to get us to even mid teens in PPS, especially if we set it up to partner and receive royalties. Maybe if we go at it solo. Clofazimine is a couple years away from FDA approval most likely. I’m looking forward to the scientific publication on the Phase 1 clinical trial Mike said would be hitting the journals soon. |
