Anyone else loving these minuscule volume days, with anticipation of what’s to come when volume comes in soon? I like that we’re adrift in the $5s instead of the $4s, but I do not have much confidence about a big bump in share price as a lead up to the next earnings report or afterwards with a new floor in the $6s or higher. I think that would require an optimism coupled with speculation. I think optimism is growing with respect to MNKD, but the market is losing its appetite or tolerance for speculation and will be more inclined to value companies on fundamentals. I think this cautious outlook is also an inhibiting factor for technicals that doesn’t show up in the charts which predict future behavior on the past without (I assume) an input for investor market bull/bear sentiment. I will be delighted to be wrong. There is only one reason MNKD (and UTHR) is/are on top of it's range when other stocks are not. Increased revenue. I think we're agreeing that MNKD's good performance is underwriting the relative buoyancy of their stock price.
I don't expect a big increase in optimism between now and or for some few weeks after the next earnings report. Even then I think the share price will increase in relation to increases in sales of Tyvaso DPI (and to a lesser degree, Afrezza and V-Go). Those are fundamentals. I assume the share price already reflects optimistic expectations. Buy on the rumor and sell on the news are not phrases invented by me.
I really like your charts, and that you make them and share them and their/your prognostications. It's like icing on the fundamentals cake (or a slow water drip on the forehead depending upon their predictions).
We would all really like a strong volume showing between now and (forever frankly, but since that's not realistic we'll settle) for the next year or 10. I think we still have some waiting to do.

However, UTHR's lines are high. UTHR 200 day still holds the point of break out. MNKD 20 day at $5.04. we will see. COMPQ could be back testing, it still hasn't broken the line for possible 13,000 SPX is holding it's line as well. If these lines fail, the market is going down further? I am thinking the indices lines hold. we will see. |

The volume is concerning but remaining more buoyant than the DOW and NASDAQ (so far). Maybe it's the technical investors helping!
