I find it interesting that basically when things are looking good for MNKD, something always goes south ! For example, when share price gets to $5-$6, it will then take a nose dive....its just a fact, it always happens. The weird thing is, the unbelievable part is every time stock price gets to $5-$6, there seems to be a good reason for it going higher and that finally we are going to see what we all know should have happened the last time, and finally our perseverance is going to pay off or at least look to be headed that way. But, I really dont get this last nose dive from beginning approx 2 weeks ago in January. We had a great 2022 3Qtr earnings call with huge upside for 2022 4Qtr results with the blockbuster Tyvaso DPI first billion $ drug. Along with JPM conference and the future pipeline drugs along with soon to be trial results. The stars are lined up in our favor! Can anyone explain this ? I just learned what Naked Shorty Selling really Means", The only explanatin I can come up with is Naked Short Selling. This is when a brokrage firm sells shares they dont have and fail to report this. Reaping all profit from the sell. I do have Margin accounts myself and I believe this allows brokrage firms to barrow my stocks to short sell them. I'm going to ask my brokrage firm tomorrow if by me signing a margin agreement that it allows them to borrow my shares, sell them and drive price down. Because there is absolutly no reason for MNKD to be dropping like it is right now....This time....Period For more info see: WALL STREET CONSPIRACY SEQUAL youtu.be/26_IcexvePAand also see on this ProBoard under Articles, Media Spots, and Ads, "Analysts are betting on MNKD corp".

"I do have Margin accounts myself and I believe this allows brokrage firms to barrow my stocks to short sell them." You are describing short selling which is legal and ethical (although very risky). Naked selling is not legal or ethical.
I doubt we have a short problem. The bad people usually attack a stock that is overpriced or is in danger of going bankrupt. Mnkd is neither.

What is your explanation for its current share price down turn with only good news to report from MNKD ? Also, there is nothing legal or ethical about most hedge funds way of trading and laundering. Its a culture, even the big brokrage firms are guilty, even if the big CEO's don't know what goes on in the back room or they do but claim they don't, its happening. There are no rules and no one to inforce them or if there is they are paid off.

What’s the explanation for going to 5.40? There wasn’t any news.

It is wiser to say "I don't know" than to say "it must be short selling because I can't think of another explanation".

What’s the explanation for going to 5.40? There wasn’t any news. There was the 3Qrtr financial calls. MNKD & UTHR Blockbuster Tyvaso DPI - 1st Billion$ drug. Huge revenue streams for both UTHR & MNKD. That alone seams like news and good news too, very good !

Those were good news items, perhaps enough to justify a move from the $3 range up to the $4-something range, and we were fortunate to overshoot that and get above $5 for a while. Maybe we need more real news to move back above $5 and towards $6? Just spitballing here, as it’s always difficult to peg MNKD share price to actual numbers.

The market cap is 1.2B and we have a ton of debt. Just 2 more factors to consider when trying to figure out whether or not the stock is priced correctly.

Net debt $218. Full enterprise value, with technosphere, 4 revenue lines and one growing 100%+ with 100% margin. Lets say $1.0B to $3.0B. Subtract the debt and divide by the 263m shares outstanding. share price would be $3.00 to $10.50. Lots of room to argue, but if success continues at the past 2 year pace, IMO we see a $10 stock sooner rather than later.

The answer to the question is Yes. But to what extent, we don't really know. It's probably not as bad as it was from 2015-2018. Even though it has tapered off in the recent years, I wouldn't be surprised if they found other ways to suppress the stock price that aren't as noticeable.

Just spitballing here, as it’s always difficult to peg MNKD share price to actual numbers. 3rd Qrtr Call was Nov 9, 2022 PPS close 3.86
2 days later, Nov 11 PPS close 4.38 (+13.38%). 50 days later, Dec 29 PPS close 5.37 (+39%). 51 days later to current date, PPS decline starts and there is no news to attribute this to. I've been following MNKD for long long time and when PPS gets to $5-$6, like a clock it will it will decline w/o news to attribute the decline to other than less than expected financials. But this time around; debt and revenue is in the best shape its been in for a long long time. 2022 3Qrtr financial call was really really good. Fantastic really. Debt is still there, but the road forward appears to have this aspect covered and should not be a problem to pay. I would like to see a plan to pay debt off and reward its investors. I'm guessing stock price will jump again after this fridays option experation and really catch traction prior to 4th qtr earnings call. A good time to be long.... unless wall street can somehow manipulate this.

Now that those projections are out, it is not going to keep going up barring some new material developments or repeated earnings beats/raised expectations. The PPS has saturated along with the market as a whole. It's not some giant short conspiracy against MannKind.
