Agree, if any BP were concerned about Afrezza they could simply buy MNKD outright. Unfortunately it would cost them a small fraction of the dollar figures sayhey is suggesting.

I agree but today there is no concern. If afrezza became an issue someone would buy us. What I suggested before is if afrezza starts becoming a problem then I would expect a bidding war. The issue right now is BP "as a team" has been able through multiple moves to block afrezza and keep scripts to 1k a week. As long as thats were afrezza is BP is happy and afrezza has close to zero impact. BP has no concern and will continue to have no concern. The last blocker is insurance coverage. We saw what happened this year with Medicare. It looked like a lay-up for 2024 after making progress for 2023 and then "Lucie" pulled the ball and Charlie Brown fell on his ass again. At this point it is what it is. MNKD either accepts the current game and plays by BP rules and takes a few scraps here and there or MNKD breaks the rules and if so we have no idea what will happen. Right now for the first time in the history of MNKD, Mike has the power to break the rules. |
