What in the heck got into MNKD stock today? I feel reborn, but a bit dizzy at these heights! Maybe the bleeding has stopped, pretty strong move today.

It seems like they(whoever was moving the stock downward) was trying to close the gap before driving the price up. Hopefully this is the start of a big uptrend.
Closing the gap yesterday as well as a big down market seemed to be the catalyst for today.

Six more days like today and Spiro could be smiling again. But he has got to figure out a way to get out of those halogen headlights.

The real question is WHO EVER is moving the price. Minipulation of the price.

Weirdest day ever in my stock world! Most of my stocks that have been getting absolutely hammered are UP today, and I was loathing going on the internet having kept up with the general market activities via radio.

Just realized we're back over my cost basis... Woo Hoo indeed. Even picked up a few shares in the 4's. Of course I'm not holding my breath on these gains holding. Maybe if I sell a few shares here it will send the stock soaring up. OR... maybe this is just a start of a massive rotation out of S&P and into MNKD

OR... maybe this is just a start of a massive rotation out of S&P and into MNKD This is not as much of a joke as you think, IMO. Traders and speculators are the ones who are short MNKD. When the market is up they can short MNKD, but as the market goes down and margin accounts are strained traders look to cover their short bets in the same way they sell long positions to close those trades.

That is very true, ezra, and I believe some of our short friends are experiencing some heartburn today!

It would be nice if something was happening in the background to cause this 2 day rally in MNKD share price. I sure hope it's SNY starting to buy some shares or a Technosphere deal in the making.

The latter would imply leaked information or potentially insider trading for it to affect our share price. MNKD seems to run a pretty tight ship.

Either SNY or Institutional buying. What if it was Sanofi's parter who is cash rich buying shares? Think about it. Regeneron might want a piece of MannKind to add to their portfolio? I bet Sanofi wouldn't mind that since they seem to be buying Regeneron shares and are authorized to buy up to 30% of the outstanding shares of REGN.
I know its a strange speculation on my part but you just never know how this deal will end up other than long term MNKD will be a winner for SNY.
