All of you that want to do covered calls ... it is up to you ... BUT, I wouldn't do it on MNKD shares. You all do know that there are analysts that just put a "Strong Buy" rating on MNKD ... and that's why it is climbing. What you are doing is a lot riskier than going to Las Vegas. So Good Luck to you all. And that is mytakeonit By definition there is no risk in covered calls. It's basically no different than placing limit sell order, though getting the benefit of a higher price without having to actually reach it.

Covered calls till Aug. 16th ... ahhh ... price will fly past $10 before the conference call early Aug.
If you know how and what to play in Las Vegas ... you will always be a winner. Last trip to Vegas ... totally comped for 3 suites, meals, shows, limo, etc ... and still won another $35k even though I just missed MegaBucks. If you know what you're doing ... it's easy.
But, that's mytakeonit

So wating for ADA news, the relative thread is focused on covered calls and las vegas.... interesting... Pay attention to las vegas guys, because las vegas always win... and win a lot of money ! So don't go to las vegas specially same day of MTOI because if He win 70k then You will have to pay at least 100k !!!!

The good news for Vegas is for every 35K MTOI wins he isn’t mentioning the 70K in losses. There’s a reason why they “give” him those comps!
Over the long haul, Vegas wins, that’s just a natural law of the universe.
At least with the covered call strategy being discussed, we actually get to win 😀

Is this a closed door meeting today and results won't be public, or will there be a press release with the results?

Mnkd posted this on facebook: MannKind is excited to share positive 17-week results from the INHALE-3 study presented by the INHALE-3 investigational team at the American Diabetes Association’s 84th Scientific Sessions in Orlando today. The study proves inhaled insulin is as effective as usual care (primarily automated insulin delivery pumps or multiple daily injections) for adults living with Type 1 Diabetes meeting the primary endpoint. bit.ly/4evL9YF#MannKind #Diabetes #T1D #ADASciSessions

Read on to see superiority. The second bullet says: "Patients utilizing inhaled insulin reached target A1c (less than 7%) 30% of the time compared to 17% with usual care and 24% had time-in-range (TIR) above 70% with no increased hypoglycemia compared with 13% with usual care"

More subjects utilizing inhaled insulin achieved glycemic targets: 30% of inhaled insulin group reached <7% (HbA1c) at 17 weeks vs. 17% of the usual care group 21% of inhaled insulin group vs. 0% of usual care group met A1c goal of <7% if baseline was >7% 24% of the Afrezza group and 13% of the usual care group achieved TIR above 70% with no increased hypoglycemia in the inhaled insulin group.
21% vs 0% seems SUPERIOR, not non-inferior.

Who are people going to listen to, shareholders on a message board or the CEO of the company? The CEO is not saying "superior". If he could he would.
