Please remind me who Sagard is? The company which paid MannKind $150M (plus a $50M kicker under the right circumstances) in return for 10% of MannKind's 10% royalties (Sagard nets 1%) of revenue from sale of UTHR's Tyvaso DPI. |

I expected a move up with the 2nd quarter results. However, I wonder if this 50% move we’ve just experienced from low $3s to low $5 isn’t exactly the move I was thinking about.
If not, my math says we’ll move to about $8 by years end. JMHO

I don't know about that. I expect to see excellent growth in Tyvaso DPI royalties. Seems like UTHR is hitting it out of the park with DPI. Those revenues are growing very strongly. And don't forget about MNKD's $50 MILLION bonus payment from UTHR if a certain level of revenue is attained. Given that we are discussing Q2 results... you're saying you think MNKD achieved the milestone trigger for that bonus payment from UTHR in Q2 ? No. I don't know if they have YET. But I think they will given the strong growth of Tyvaso sales. |

Tyvaso dpi sales q1 24 was 227m$.
To trigger the 50m$ milestone it must reach 1,9b any 12 consecutive months within december 26.....
So we should wait at least 400m$ by quarter to hope to trigger the milestones after other 3 increasing quarters... not so soon guys.... and not so easy...

1.9B / 12 = $ 158,333,333.34 average per month. Do we have ALL the quarterly numbers from the 'beginning'? Certainly seems doable to me. Especially if the numbers grow as much as UTHR expects.

I love my MNKD shares, so I've always viewed earnings calls as the best. Those of who been here since FDA approval know all too well how extremely painful the earnings calls used to be. It wasn't too long ago when I was trying to figure out how soon MNKD would achieve twenty or thirty million in sales. Remember when we had Zero in Sales? So no, the earnings calls have not always been the best. BUT for several quarters or more they have become more and more positive and strong. Lately each one better than the last. Onward and upwards! |
