OK, but I still think Putting Out Fire With Gasoline perfectly characterizes how the shorts have been trying to manage the PPS...

Baba, someday you will have to explicate that teenage wasteland thing. Are you really dissing all of those Woodstock kids, or were you there in the mud yourself?

Well, if we ever get the squeeze, another Bowie song that would be applicable:
"Golden Years"

Not at Woodstock, heck, at age 19 I was lucky to get as far as Vegas! But once Woodstock happened, The Who became my favorite band, and the song is probably my favorite of theirs. I've outlived half the band, so far....

Just got an e-mail from Schwab titled "Income rate has changed on your loaned securities." There was a brief moment of suspense..."from 5% to 7%," which I believe is the highest rate they have offered to date. Remember the "compounding" factor, the rate goes up and (I hope) the price goes up. The question is are the shorts reaching for more ammo; or are they covering some "naked" positions; or is this info not really indicative of anything? I have been reading about the impeding short squeeze for at least 5 years. I hope it comes before the Rapture.

Currently at IB: Symbol: MNKD Availability: 9'000 Exchanges: NASDAQ virtually zero available, it really feels they will have to bring it (price) up to try and obtain some ammo....maybe to that 50 week ma @ 6.85

They must have ammo to knock it down so quickly. I think it would be pretty risky for the shorts to "allow" the price to get to the 50 week number...might cause the mo-mo players to jump in and then the shorts will lose their price control. I think we're range bound until news comes out (New CEO for SNY, scripts numbers ['low' number and shorts send out AF to knock the price down], etc).

Actually, it kind of was like shooting blanks...the drop of .13 from the closing price on friday occurred on a few thousand shares and was fleeting within a minute or two before heading right back to the unchanged area....on a day where the biotech indices are currently exhibiting a bit of weakness, it is holding up relatively well...and Pete if you're reading this as an FYI I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on INO ...will be out of range for about 7hrs.

I see what you mean...volume during the drop was about 40%+ below normal. Looks like the price action was more reflective of the drop in the DOW.
