Either way, Tute ownership is up a big percent this reporting period. I never remember it 25% of float. It's jumped 10-20% from last quarter to just this reporting period ( from 22 to 25%). If blackrock shares aren't added it's another few percentage.
Also with the volume we have had lately (which hasn't been all due to short covering/rebuying) that number is more than likely continuing higher.
Float is getting smaller boys and girls.

I wonder if the 552 million worldwide diabetics by 2030 is influencing this institutional accumulation? Ashiwi can confirm this number.

Wow! It appears the real, first-person spiro is prone to asking leading questions (chuckle). From World Diabetes Day 2014:
The latest estimates from the IDF Diabetes Atlas indicate that there are 382 million people living with diabetes worldwide. By 2035, 592 million people or one person in ten will have the disease. A further 316 million people are currently at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes, with the number expected to increase to almost 500 million within a generation. What makes the pandemic particularly menacing is that throughout much of the world, it remains hidden. Up to half of all people with diabetes globally remain undiagnosed.
I think the answer to your question is yes - institutions are looking at potential future demand for Afrezza.

It was brought to my attention yesterday at a conference I went to. www.idf.org/sites/default/files/Atlas-poster-2014_EN.pdf

Sorry to bore you guys with this stuff, but Spiro thinks there is message in this data from the big boys. I have been printing out and saving the quarterly reports since 9/30/13.
Total Institutional ownership Quarter ending:
09/30/13 63.2 million shares
12/31/13 72.9
03/31/14 82.9
06/30/14 89.2
09/30/14 92.7
12/31/14 99.4 incomplete data

And the ownership does not include all of Blackrock. From what I count only 13.8M share are listed for Blackrock through there various funds but they report over 20M.

But I think part of that increase is due to you and Spiro both being classified as "institutions" as of January 1, 2015. Congrats on that, by the way!
