I've been waiting to see BAC position update and now confirmed how dirty the investment upgrade/downgrade and PT is played. BAC Steve Byrnes would pump MNKD up to $9.00 and add shares prior to the upgrade. They then sell off in the 3rd Qtr of last year by about 30% then proceeded to down grade MNKD $8 (was $9.00) to $5 then to $4. All the while citing some BS Physician survey and then later about some more BS about cautious Afrezza market penetration as recent as November 4th, 2014. www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color/13/09/3893086/update-bank-of-america-downgrades-mannkind-following-phywww.streetinsider.com/related.php?id=9972290&type=siMy point is, nothing has changed about the prospect of Afrezza form 3rd Qtr to 4th Qtr of last year, so why sell off about 700K shares in 3rd Qtr 14' then down grade and bad mouth all through 11/4/14. I am sure to then add 1.2M shares on the cheap in the 4th Qtr. My guess is we shall hear of an upgrade (from under-perform and $4.00) by Mr. Byrne in the next couple months now that they've picked up 1.2M shares. These analysts are completely useless but unfortunately they have the platform and ears of wallstreet and small investors like myself can only sit and watch.....

The French is remarkably good! Spiro is truly multi talented. Don't know if you will get a response but I am all in for a trip to France (April at the earliest though: Paris is beautiful in spring).

Vous parlez tres bien francais, Capitaine Spiro.
You might also ask them if they know, "que est la nouveau patron du lieu?" (who is the new boss/CEO of the place). If you're really bored, that is...

So here is something to consider that I saw on YMB... B of A (which I posted a couple of weeks back) still maintains a $4 pps for mnkd.
And yet it seems they have doubled their holdings over the last Q or so. A conflict of interest?

And yet it seems they have doubled their holdings over the last Q or so. A conflict of interest? I didn't verify the accuracy of those posts but I wouldn't be surprised in the least. A conflict of honesty towards anyone who listens to them: business as usual... If they were confronted with this (which they won't be) they would simply say that this is proof their Chinese wall is functioning perfectly...

Yes and speaking of the "Chinese Wall" it seems to have a few cracks in it... Has anyone noticed how much US technology the Chinese use in their new Stealth fighter and that it came online almost exactly at the same time ours did?? Not to mention the numerous other items they appear to have had access to for free while we spend billions on original R&D. (Not to get political) My point is that if Al Man and company were in charge of protecting State secrets for the US then we would be in much better shape as they have not allowed a single leak on Afrezza. Just pointing out the irony... And just say'in for those on the other thread that wish they were not so silent...

It looks like the list is mostly complete now. Nasdaq lists total institutional ownership at 102,383,436. They still don't show Blackrock at 5%. Interesting that 97 institutions increased or started new position last quarter. www.nasdaq.com/symbol/mnkd/institutional-holdings

Interesting that 97 institutions increased or started new position last quarter. www.nasdaq.com/symbol/mnkd/institutional-holdingsIt feels like a lot of things are lining up for MNKD: 1) Institutional ownership is really starting to build 2) The amount of shares available to short is close to, if not, zero. 3) RX numbers could very well be MUCH better than expected AND MUCH better than the Exubera numbers 4) Volume is picking up 5) OBV (money flowing into MNKD) is increasing 6) Above 50d & 200d Ave (well, pretty close with 200d SMA) 7) AfrezzaUser continues to amaze us with his results from taking Afrezza (<100mg levels!). His followers have gone from under 100 to close to 1000 in 2-3 weeks) 8) Possible news on Technosphere Feel free to add more!

Interesting that 97 institutions increased or started new position last quarter. www.nasdaq.com/symbol/mnkd/institutional-holdingsThat was last quarter. The announcement of Blackrock's more than 5% stake must be disclosed shortly after it is bought, so the purchases were probably completed this year. As I have speculated before, the beginning of actual sales in February was also a signal to potential buyers that Afrezza was now a real product and MannKind a revenue producing business. So I think institutional and retail buying is continuing. The increase in the short interest just helped these folks buy their shares at a better price.
