Good Suggestions. My two cents - maybe contact Sam and see if through his network he knows some folks on Afrezza who are having great experiences but for whatever reason, do not post to twitter or other social media. That could add some nice credibility. I think, and you as a professional video producer would know this more than myself or any amateur but if the video only features the people that are already tweeting about Afrezza, it may not have as much credibility as getting some fresh faces. The counter to my argument of course is that if your video gets in front of people who are not yet familiar with Afrezza and have not seen Sam and the others online posts. Best of luck to you.

You shouldn't just cover the patients. Show how it impacts the lives of patients immediate family members, society's healthcare costs etc
Your opening scene can show a diabetic coming out of the operation theater after an amputation. As pt is waking up, he/she is wondering aloud "How did I end up in this situation?"

This will not take years to finish...I am not making some clip like it came from Sony, pretty simple pieces guys.

Though I admire your desire to make a film; I think it be left to the professionals who know the business of movie making and marketing. Consider bringing in two professional film makers. Ron Howard to provide the life of Alfred Mann and Quentin Tarantino to reflect the Wall Street side of Cramer, AF and the Short action. And for an additional price; all the candy and popcorn you can eat.
Organic growth cold be an alternative possibility as long as it's GMO free.

To clarify my rec on engaging with Sam, Mike, Spiro .... wouldn't suggest only these folks. Per Scotta above, would include non-social patients, and yay - also yes, family. The piece also has to have credibility, but bringing in known voices adds more. Effectively - its a win-win. It may also be that you have more latitude than the SNY marketing team in doing a 'documentary'. They (and MNKD) would be more bound by legal considerations with FDA, etc on a piece like this than a private individual such as yourself!

There was a guy in Iran who made a film on his smart phone while he was waiting to be sentenced for disregarding Iranian censorship laws. The government had confiscated his professional cameras. It was compelling and worked well enough for a video screen.
I think he made that film in several days but there was no traveling involved and the interviews that were in his film all took place at his kitchen table.
