So I was driving back home this evening and thought, why not do a documentary for some of the users that's been on it already and see their experience. Because there isn't a campaign started by sny just yet, this will be great to great awareness for people.
I am currently unemployed and heavily invested into mnkd so it's also in my best interest. Not heavily as in 6 figures but heavily for my means.
Any thoughts on this? I have a camera that can record, can play around with software and out all the clips together

I think it is best to allow Afrezza to grow organically. There are many diabetics out there doing a wonderful job through social media; a modern day documentary, if you will.
And SNY's lack of advertising is strategic. They have a plan, and as shareholders, we should trust their plan. I have always said, if you were happy when SNY was announced as a partner-- and you should have been-- you must let them do their job and remain patient.

As tough as it is (share price wise) I agree with Cub on this one. We need to be patient & have faith that SNY has a plan & will implement it soon (hopefully).....

I understand where you guys are coming from on that front
I only thought of it also cause I remember they had a few testimony at the adcom and that seemed to work, so I figured why not expand that into real world patients now, not just the people on trail

I also think waiting is best, d, however, if you offer me the chance to write the screenplay, direct and give me the lead in the production, well, then, you have my full support!!
We'll work ourselves out of this mess, the combo of a huge, organized short interest and substantial control of media/blog/analyst input is going to take rising Rx's to combat. I think that's been the consensus thought on this board for quite some time. I became convinced of that right after the approval spike and drop, but, even so, it's difficult to see the stock disrespected and abused as much as it is currently.

Direct, screenplay, questions, that's all yours buddy!
It was just an idea, look like we got 2 veterans on this site that is not for it. However if people change their mind, better do it soon before I get a job! Lol
I was going to do this all on my own, would have to get in co tact with the guys on social media and see if they'd be interested

I like the idea of being able to document how diabetics have taken control of their disease with Afrezza by showcasing the before and after transformation just how Sam and Eric have done. But it has to be done by DIABETICS for DIABETICS.

Correct this is to help spread the word about Afrezza from real life users.
It'll be something nearly put together, good footage not your phone camera stuff and I believe some of the testimony can also be somewhat education/helpful for people who are skeptical
Like mike parise said he was skeptical now speechless. To me pictures are worth a thousand words, though this is not a picture I am creating, it'll be a video and it'll be helpful in my opinion. No one wants to keep up with a blog all the time, they just want to know it works from real life users. Like the mike guy, there are 32 pages worth of comments, I have time for that cause I am sitting around, but for people who aren't, or not interested in reading and keeping up, 1 place, 1 link, 1 video

I'm curious as to how you would make it a professional looking production without a lot of travel. How would you go about planning and building this project?

I would be traveling. I have airline points!! I want to be able to interview them, ask them the questions, and like a day in the life of them. Of course it'll have to be okay with them to video tape this. I won't be able to get everyone, but the people who are close the dfw area, and I'll travel to the ones over social media like Sam, the guy from American idol and the mike guy are people who I have on my list if I were to go through with this
It's still a pretty fresh idea but some of the things I'd certainly like to know is how has life changed not only for you but your family and friends, show me your fridge before Afrezza, things like that

Well, if you're willing to do that, I guess you ought to do it. I would perhaps wait another couple of months or so, so that people have more experience with Afrezza and you won't catch as much criticism that it was way too early to do this kind of project. You might even be able to enlist some help in the various locales you decide to visit.

If this is something you really know how to do and have experience with, I suppose my attitude is an little different than those expressed so far. I think this is the sort of thing social media has created and its part of the landscape now for Sanofi and any other company that markets any product. It's easy for me to say since you're the guy doing the work but if they'll agree and you're really confident in your ability to put together I nice product, I say have at it. But be careful to make sure you get full disclosure. I understood one of Eric Fenar's tweets to imply that he is now heavily invested in MNKD.
Also, these guys have invested a lot if time and effort spreading the word. They now have quasi-public personas. Don't be surprised if they're not willing to just turn over control of this project to you. If they're willing to do it at all, I'm guessing they'll want to be involved in editing and production.
Oh. And don't forget Spiro, aka "the type 2 guy".

With Savzak on this. I would suggest that your home grown video documentary is in fact, part of the viral-social effect that SNY is probably counting on, and not contrary or interfering with their process. Who knows. Perhaps you could even get a SNY rep on camera (wink, wink). And consider that it seems that Hakan will be getting online/camera with Sam, and then of course, their comments during that last cc about social media. I would actually recommend starting now: - Takes time to fly around, capture stuff, schedule with people, get their sign off, etc etc.
- Takes time to produce the thing into good shape.
- Good idea to be 'at the ready' with the camera should anything big break
Regarding the quasi-public personalities and our own quasi-multi-personality star, Mr. Spiro, a way you could approach it is to make the documentary partly about the fact they've become quasi-public personalities. Tell their stories a bit and about why they've gone the extra mile. I think this would be of interest, would build their credibility in the diabetic community, and help them feel more like stars than like usurped. Even better if you include links to their sites, twitter handles or such as part of it. Hey - you may even get to meet up with one or two of those celebs that have come out as early adopters .... fun! Just some .02 and happy to pitch in if you need another set of experienced eyes on this. Good luck!

Correct which is why I think right now is a good time for me to help spread the word before sanofi launches an actual campaign, this should be in line with whatever they plan to do. Helping spread the word of how Afrezza can help change their life
