Great, I sign on tonight only to find out that while I'm accumulating shares, Hakan is selling. I wonder if I bought some of his shares. Makes me wonder......

The questions is how many Thousands of Manna from Heaven do I need? I still would like to DCA down some more. So tempting to eat another apple from the Garden of Eden. Been asking myself the same question all day.

OK, so here's my full buying history of MNKD, all cash, no calls, puts, margin, or anything else, with a weighted price of $5.5732. Does today's close suck for longs? Only if you sell (or are on margin). I know it's probably easier for me since I've been an investor for only 5 months, but in the end, I think most all longs will be happy.
"No Ragrets!" (Well, maybe just a tiny bit for that 2/6 purchase!)
Date Price 11/25/2014 $6.15 12/15/2014 $5.01 1/7/2015 $5.60 1/12/2015 $5.53 1/15/2015 $5.29 1/27/2015 $6.30 1/29/2015 $6.15 2/4/2015 $6.39 2/6/2015 $6.83 3/3/2015 $5.89 3/18/2015 $5.36 3/25/2015 $5.14 4/17/2015 $5.06 4/20/2015 $4.97 4/27/2015 $4.59 $5.5732

I actually held off until this morning when I purhased $5 calls for Jan 2017 and sold $5 puts for Jan 2017 for a net of 90 cents each leaving me with a cost/share of $4.10/share and a guarantee of owing the shares. It may (GOD FORBID!) get lower than $4.10, but my guess is that it will be sold for far more than $5/share by Jan 2017 and I will gain the difference.
Of course, I've thought this before ........

I just picked up another 3300 at 4.25
I probably have a few more than my initial thesis planned for, but if they're going to give them away at bargain basement prices; why not.
I have no doubts on this in the long term and if they push into the 3s I'm going again

afrizzle etc.. kudos to your courage on accumulating more. It feels like masochism just holding onto my position. This stock will be a lesson for me to stay away from any and all pharma stock no matter how it turns out in the end. I was doing alright sticking to tech stocks and my mistake was treating MNKD as a tech stock. My aging accelerated over the past six months and my gf doesn't like my new hairline

Eventually you should be well-rewarded.

Right now there seems to be some ambivalence from the type 1 diabetic community as to them even wanting other options. We will have to be patient and hope that more Afrezza users step froward and convince other diabetics to at least give Afrezza a try.
