You can "say" that again, alethea! Gotta love it, so far. poorneil, $7 seems like a good place for you to exit, you're clearly not meant to stay long here. Nice double entendre, if I do say so myself. Everyone, even the most optimistic longs has a price at which they believe the share value is out of line with current financial performance and discounted present value of future unknowns. It's not crazy for someone unable to sleep at night to exit with a small profit. Personally though, I am waiting until at least we see some resolution to this ridiculous short interest and how the shorts unwind their positions from here. I'm talking about selling puts purely to be able to sleep better. My DD tells me selling MNKD under 12$ is leaving money on the table but the experience of holding this stock has left me wary. I don't have the stomach to make this my second biggest holding and stand up to the heavyweight master manipulators. Ideally I should sell and never look back but since I have the nagging feeling that this will be the blockbuster that I was hoping for, I'll try to minimize my loss (and profit). I'm not done with this board though

At some point I'll probably look to buy back the puts that I sold as part of synthetic long positions taken during the swoon.

At some point I'll probably look to buy back the puts that I sold as part of synthetic long positions taken during the swoon. I rolled most of my calls to Jan 17 from Jan 16 at a lower strike price and for less than the delta between the prices. For example, rolled $4 calls to $3 calls for $.92, $1 less and another year. On the other hand, I'm waiting to roll my Short puts that I used to finance the calls. Most are at $7 expiring Jan 16, looking to roll to Jan 17 for >$1 same strike price.
Study the DNDN charts, if we get a double in one day, we have a squeeze. Enjoy the ride, cautiously optimistic.

Hows Afrezza still working for you Papi? With all the excitement in the last couple weeks on share price I don't want to lose sight of how the drug is affecting lives of our community. Any update?

Hows Afrezza still working for you Papi? With all the excitement in the last couple weeks on share price I don't want to lose sight of how the drug is affecting lives of our community. Any update? As previously reported, a1c down to 6.2 from 6.5, next test July 6th (Dr requiring test every 60 days). Best part is that I've lost 16lbs so far and I attribute to better BG control. No more Hypers. One observation, I greatly under estimated the amount I need to take to control my BG. I was reluctant to take too much for fear of a hypo. My FBG is current in the low 120's where previously, closer to 140.
Sorry for not posting much about it. Frankly waiting for my 7/6 results which I suspect will be awesome. I read the board daily and occasionally post but I'm not one to post my daily movements. I have a life outside of MNKD. We have a wonderful group of people on this board and grateful for there insights and knowledge (and laughter as well). Take care, one month away from my next test.
p.s. can someone get Harry a bigger star, he's awesome.

It appears you wouldn't be the first. I wonder if Sanofi and MannKind might adjust the doses per box as it seems they may have underestimated dosing and not accounted much if any at all for correcting doses. I also remember a story of ADAM LASHER having a hard time w insurance not on his first Rx, but on his 3rd refill which seems another gumming up of the gears imo Continued good numbers to you

Regarding insurance, not covered for now with Humana. I'm paying out of pocket and using the discount card.

"I read the board daily and occasionally post but I'm not one to post my daily movements." Papi, I'm quite certain we're all grateful for this. Well, it is Tuesday (see first post in this thread), many of my biotechs are getting hit pretty hard, not only MNKD. Not unexpected, but still disappointing (and Spiro is only a five hours or so from US airspace, I implored him to remain in Europe, said he couldn't, cuz he was just about out of Afrezza). The day is young, GS tomorrow (did those fine fellows sell yesterday, or this morning?). The short forces probably had time huddle up and coordinate today's activities. Lots of day traders likely to have inflated yesterday's huge volume. They may be active again today. $3 billion market cap, for now, remains somewhat formidable. Would be nice if we can establish a base camp above that number.
