Despite our dissatisfaction with management, so far they're delivered what they set out to deliver.
I'm surprised the possible TS partnership in the near future is not being discussed around here.

becos the board of directors keep meeting and never come to a decision. Unless signed and release by company, its a moot point

Even if it does happen, it will probably not do much to the share price.

Even if it does happen, it will probably not do much to the share price. Don't know how much I agree with this. If a partner is found in a big pharma, then the conditions of the deal may be very lucrative in the short term for MNKD. This could alleviate concerns of cash problems. Beyond that, what do biotech investors love more than speculation and hype around trial results? And what do the big guns on Wall Street dislike more than secrecy? I think announcement of a partner and the API for TS would be a huge material event and be very favorable for the stock price.

Even if it does happen, it will probably not do much to the share price. You are kidding, right? A partnership for a new Technosphere deal will send the shorts running and the stock price soaring. A new partnership will establish Technosphere as a viable new technology that is sought out by others. As soon as one signs on the dotted line, others will follow. And, Mannkind will have the cash to develop their own iterations for the future.

Better hope that any TS deal isn't like the deals MNKD did with Tolero and Colby.

While I remain optimistic that an announcement can bring up the share price, let's all be a little real here. Do you really think that we will get $$$ out of the deal right away? An announcement can mean anything at this time and what remains unknown will stay unknown until we actually see what Mannkind gains from the announcement. Even with an announcement, how long will it take to start selling the the drug with the partner? At what phases will the technology have to go through before we hit the masses? Just like the Sanofi partnership, the share price will go up with an announcement, but bounce back down until we see sales!!! Lesson learned here, sell when the share price goes up during the announcement

We are holding until many, many drugs are delivered via inhalation through Technosphere. It has been Technosphere all along for me, but along the way, Afrezza has become a gift to my family.

I think >nemzter has a good point, the same characters who have used Afrezza's timeline to their advantage will no doubt exploit the same time issue once a partnership were to be announced; we would likely see a short term rally followed by a walk down once a realistic timeline is understood. The "shorts" knew exactly how much time they had and that was their greatest strength, this TASE listing threw them for a loop which is why we've had such an exciting two trading days. I am not counting on a partnership anytime soon, Afrezza is still the key to Technosphere's success and will ultimately make or break MNKD. The next order of business after this short term victory is figuring out SNY's true intent and whether they share an enthusiasm for Afrezza that would match it's blockbuster potential.
Edit: Not sure how to link another poster's name?

It was discussed after the reference in the CC. Without further info what do you want to be discussed regarding it... a daily update that nothing new is known?

Though this may be partly shared cost of development and trials, I would still consider that money, as MNKD isn't footing the entire bill. Does this directly strengthen our balance sheet? Probably not in terms of cash on hand, but does it reduce the actual cash burn? Yes. How long & what path -- I remember Matt or Hakan saying that the release of any app is still years out. Just like any drug approval process, there will of course be a set of intermediate trials before submission to the FDA.

Edit: Not sure how to link another poster's name? There is a Help button at the top of the board.... But as to your specific question, put your cursor in the "Quick Reply" Box below (I don't think it works with the full-featured reply). Then hover your cursor over the user's name. Then hit Alt left click and their name will appear in the reply box.
