OK, as long as were are going down this road, here is a link from WebMD about vacuum erection devices of which many are purchased by people with diabetes. So in addition to crushing many other Rx and device manufacturers, Mannkind will also take a chunk of revenue from Viagra, Cialis and manufacturers of these things. Imagine the ad campaign of the value and simplicity of inhaling Afrezza vs using one of these things! Maybe Al should raise the price, no pun intended. www.webmd.com/erectile-dysfunction/vacuum-devices-for-erection-problems@scotta thanks man, my first laugh of the day. Humor is a great way introduce new concepts. And in this case, learn something new. I'll tell ya, for sure I've had some OCD following this stock, but learning about diabetes as a non-diabetic has been very good my health. Now, I watch my waistline and go to the gym daily. It's been very positive and therapeutic and all the people around me benefit from that enthusiasm and healthy attitude. Maybe a good approach would be a broad, preventative health approach, and include motivational incentives like you mentioned. I do a little online marketing and blogging and for sure, for sure for sure everything needs to be very graphic intensive and provocative to get someone to stay on a page for more than 20 seconds ( compound26 probably knows that one ) -- if you can't get that, the Google algorithms bump you down in their statistics. Maybe comics or humor would be a nice hook for readers? Your idea is great motivation for guys, maybe women's health deserves equal time

Sanofi has an a1c Champions program, offering diabetes education workshops "led by people with diabetics for people with diabetes." www.a1cchampions.comGetting early adopters involved in Afrezza workshops may be one of the agenda items for the San Diego meeting.

Wonder if we'll get any rumors regarding what happened at this meeting.

Sam posted a pic of him at the beach. Looks like Del Mar to me. I used to take my dog to Dogs Beach right near there.

Tommy Emmanuel is awesome!! I have seen him twice. If you have the opportunity to request ask for Lewis and Clark and/or No More Goodbyes.
I realize this is not necessarily appropriate for this board but Tommy is the best.

Docfrezza, I know you posted a couple days ago that people attending these type of meetings have to sign NDAs, so we probably won't hear anything from the meeting. In your experience from being at some of these meetings, what was the purpose of holding them for the Pharma company? was it to gain a better understanding of the drug? Or maybe use some of the info to set up a new study? Thanks.

They could be looking at the clamp study, they could be asking about advertising, they might just want to see what early adopters thought about Afrezza from either the practitioner view or the patient view. Or any one of hundreds of other ideas. There is just no way to know without hearing from someone who attended. Of the several I have attended the discussions were usually introducing new marketing ideas and getting input from those attending. But with Afrezza who knows. So far nothing that has happened seems normal. And what a great product.

Docfrezza - The fact that people had to sign NDA's in order to attend this meeting is actually a great sign. Important information (positive and vital especially) is not often disclosed for the public when something is "in the works." Beyond the PPS, it would be a damn shame for diabetics world wide not be able to lead a normal life-on-the-go with a discreet & ultra effective/rapid-acting Afrezza device.

I think he's made the point that these advisory meetings would always have NDA's... hence it isn't really a sign of anything other than following standard procedure. In my industry you put in place an NDA before you ask for someone's name (slight exaggeration).

This is very simplistic reasoning and does not fall in line with reality based on the fact that many commonly prescribed drugs are inhaled for many common conditions - used daily (e.g. Asthma) Asthma drugs help open the airway ( helps the lungs function) Not any where close to inhaling of other particles. You have no clue, there are drugs that ARE particles FOR asthma currently on the market.
